Hormones will mess you up. Cortisol is a hormone, and can disrupt your ability to lose fat. Stress raises Cortisol....try your best to stay calm, you are saying: Calories in Calories out....no it is not that simple... (Sorry) remember to drink water, take care of your mind and stay away from the scale except once per week. Also, you need fats....not saying going full Keto, but watch out for hidden sugars in breads, rolls etc. Fiber, you need fiber to help to lose the fat. Hope this helps. I need 40 grams of fat a day....yes, and I am slim and have kept my muscle....:))) And most Drs' don't know diddly about nutrition....trust me, as a Nurse this, I know.
