Divorce is not the same as death. I lost my husband to death. My sons don’t have a father. Please don’t disrespect those of us that actually have experienced grief and watching our children suffer not having a father. It’s not the same. Not even close.

Well said. The Death of my Spouse is in no way any form of 'relief' and never will be. Yet it sounds like Divorce was a relief for her....

Agreed. How in the world could they choose to split from previous relationships and compare to the loss of the love of your life that you didn't choose or want? That's such a privileged thing to say...you've chosen to end two marriages, Heidi. No one forced you through a death to do that.

Good Lord!! Do people even think about their kids? It’s crazy. Sometimes you have to think about when multiple marriages fail you gotta work on something within yourself. I can’t imagine. As a grown child with a mom who went from man to man, this is effing nuts.

Yes, it is my own fault for watching this Q&A. All I could think of the entire time was "fake." They both sound like everything was scripted....and what makes them think it's actually going to work this time around. Really, a year is not that long at all to step back from relationships that keep falling apart. I guarantee all the nice things they said about finding each other were the exact same things when they met their previous partners. For all of the kids involved, I truly do hope it works out, but I tend to be more of a realist. Long distance relationships like that typically don't last long, especially when the focus is on looks.

Divorce is a death. It is sad that children have to go through this. Where they are not allowed to have both of their parents daily in their lives. It is confusing for them and it is teaching them that people can not do the right thing and get along. Kids would like both parents for birthdays, holidays, and other special events in their lives. It is so sad 😞.

Completely Unrealistic. If you recall or even noticed, Heidi didn’t have a choice. Neither did Dave. You can’t make people be in love with you or stay married to you just because it’s what you want or what u think is right. You know the saying, ya know, what opinions are like… So, just my opinion…kinda like yours 🙃

I totally got it. I´m divorced with 2 kids, on a relationship with someone who has 3 kids. And 2 houses has worked pretty good for us. Also for keeping our space and moments with our own kids. And you are right, it´s hard with different parenting styles to try to get everyone together all the time.

Who would ever, under any circumstance, seek out any form of guidance whatsoever from either of these people on how to do anything in life beyond performing in a circus? 🎪 I want to report this channel for being absolutely ridiculous and useless. “Everyone who divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery, and he who marries a woman divorced from her husband commits adultery. Luke 16:18 For a married woman is bound by law to her husband while he lives, but if her husband dies she is released from the law of marriage. Accordingly, she will be called an adulteress if she lives with another man while her husband is alive. But if her husband dies, she is free from that law, and if she marries another man she is not an adulteress. Romans 7:2‭-‬3 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. 1 Corinthians 6:9‭-‬11
