    I haven’t gone through all the comments, but that same connection on the AGT H15 excavator is an M16x1.5. I should have measured first. Ended up paying $25 for two fittings, and $18 of that is shipping. Crazy how we get gouged on shipping costs nowadays. Now I have to order for (2) M16x1.5 to M14x1.5 for that connection.

    I deathly see where you're coming from deathly like the product only concern I would have you're pushing on it by hand so max you're pushing like 200 lb so what happens if you have a root rake or a grapple attachment on and you're holding like a decent-sized log on a hill would spin until it faces down the hill thus for relieving the sideload

    I'm buying a FF12 next week and am in need of the brush cutter and auger attachment. The company I am buying it from is currently out of both attachments and said they should have more in within the next few months. I did some searching online and saw AGT's website. They have both attachments for the 1 ton mini excavator and I was hoping they would work on the FF12. The person I am getting the FF12 from said the bolt is 255mm and I need to make sure they attachment bolt is the same. Are you familiar with the attachments for the FF12 and if the AGT ones would work?

    According to Specialty Products, that isn't compatible with F350. I bought one, maybe due to this video, and no way would it fit over. The type of camber caster bushing it engages has splines on the top. The company representative said there isn't a tool for F350. The SP-77880 works on F150, maybe light F250. from the SP site "Used On 2500 and 3500 Dodge, Twin I-Beam with Upper and Lower Ball Joint Ford". Truck you are working on is not twin I beam. Ford Econolines 2wd are twin I beam. I messed mine up trying to get it loose and now will be finding a new one.

Went to try and broke wires walking it , then a fuel pump motor. Worth the money get one before they sell out . David from idaho worked get testing before it broke .

    My "Rhinoceros" Chinese 1.2t mini excavator had a leaking shaft seal, i think it was shipped or stored dry and the shaft under the seal and inboard of the seal was rusty on the long boat trip or storage. when it was run the rust wore the seal down, in less than 50 hours it was losing a couple of literes of oil per day. I pulled the motor, cleaned up the shaft with some 2000 grit and replaced it with a seal i got locally, nearly 300 hours and no problem. Was a pain to get the right seal, the drive seal only sees the return line pressure in the Eaton motors so you don't need a high pressure seal but Eaton specs them so they can take the full pressure in case of a blockage on the return line.

    Well I should have waited about 8 hours. Put mine on this morning before it got hot (shop currently full of junk that won't move). Fairly easy connecting hoses. I did the opposite on the pressure setting and turned the screws out until they had no spring pressure then turned in three turns. After probably 30 minutes of fiddling found about 1 1/4 turns in was about perfect. The machine still stops turning when the stick is released but not the instant hard stop. The bucket probably travels an extra 20 inches after the stick is quickly released.

    Could you not protect the system with small air chambers on each side to absorb the pressure spikes?

  • @thegarageconnection
    @thegarageconnection5 күн бұрын

    You could put accumulators on each side, but they would not be able to vent the pressure, only somewhat dampen it

    On normal valve blocks there is option of port overpressure valve. It's internal and compact. Could be standard. I've seen larger ones have overpressure valve on cylinders and third thin hose goes to tank. Can have overpressure valve in multiple places

    Easier way to explain the issue is basic physics F = M*A Force = Mass x Acceleration When you start moving the cab, the acceleration is limited by the force (hydraulic pressure from the pump) That force then stores energy in the inertia of the cab (mass) rotating. When you release the controls, all of that energy stored has to go somewhere - a quick stop means a high acceleration which causes a large pressure spike in the now closed off hydraulics. A cushion valve acts to bypass and limit that peak pressure to a safe level, cushioning the movement from an abrupt stop to a controlled slowdown.
