Great video! We did this with our 1976 backhoe (wasn’t as accessible as this😢!) as it was ISO and not SAE, I prefer SAE as it feels like you have more control, most modern machines now have a switch that you can change between iso and saw👍

Many thanks for all your help on my Mini Excavator. I've learned lots. Never did like the ISO pattern and now I can stick to the SAE. Keep up the great training you have provided.

My John Deere 2025 R has SAE controls. I'm toying with the idea of buying one of these little excavators just to play with. Good to know to change one to SAE controls.

What size are the hydraulic fittings ?

Thanks for these videos on the mini. I am planning to buy one of these. Question. Can this boom swing? I know this is not power swing. But is it hinged so I could fab some bars to lock it into the swing position?

I have recently purchased a MIVA VA13 FROM WHAT I CAN TELL IT LOOKS IDENTICAL TO YOUR H12. I HAVE SOME SLOP IN THE SWIVEL THIS IS A BRAN NEW MACHINE. THE STOP APPEARS TO BE BETWEEN THE DRIVEN GEAR AND THE DRIVE MOTOR. I'VE TRIED TO TIGHTEN THE BOLT ON THE GEAR DO YOU HAVE ANY INDICATION HOW THE DRIVE HERE IS ATTACHED TO THE MOTOR? OR IF THIS IS NORMAL. ALSO YOUR HYDRAULIC FILTER AND COOLING SYSTEM APPEARS TO FIT THIS MACHINE AS WELL I'LL BE LOOKING INTO THAT IN THE FUTURE

Thank you, I really appreciate your videos. When you do you mods please include information on the specific parts you use and how to source them. I am having a tough time finding JIC 8L fitting for my alt hydraulics.

8L is a DIN fitting with a 24 degree flare, JIC is completely different.

How did this to mine and it caused the machine to bog light crazy when extending the Dipper arm as if the spools are different

I switched the hoses on mine and also got a very dangerous motion on the boom and stick controls. At first, the dipper cylinder appears to be laboring and then all of a sudden it jerks down and almost flips the machine over. Any ideas?

Cam I bought a agt lrt23 skid loader. Could you buy one of those and do videos also? Haha. Its actually another great machine. It was 6500 delivered to my driveway. I have a couple attachments for the H12. I will have comments for that video. looking forward to it.
