I put the pepperoni in the skillet and cheese on top. Put the sauce on the tottilla and drop it on top of the pepperoni and turn it over, and cook the other side. No oven needed

I like the end result. I'd be interested to see if you could make one using two (or maybe even three) LED arrays to result in a taller lamp. I also think skinning the thing with a bit of cloth or paper would help it look very sleek and defuse the lights.

I suggest to stuck a diffuser layer onto the wooden structure in front of the LEDs, this would be much better with it. 😉

I just want to thank you for this invaluable information - I just purchased the exact same unit and was scratching my head over the almost completely useless instructions (even Ikea instructions seem 100x clearer), very poorly written, or should I say translated... So "thank you"! It all makes sense now after watching you do it. And BTW, I laughed thru this entire video at your creative use of the same made-up names of the major parts of this unit that I used while trying to figure it out ("thingy", "whatcha-ma-call-it", etc.) only I wasn't nearly as calm about it as you were! Much appreciated!

very nice, i am about to build something that also delay's the detection of a usb phone connected to my car. As my head unit boots up it wont detect the phone if phone is connected first. I Have both android and a iphone both do the same. I must unplug the phone and re plug it in. I am an industrial technician so was going to use an industrial timer to time when 12v is detected(ignition) and just switch the usb's 5vdc thru the timer relay. However your video was a very interesting watch. Didi u use a ne555? or did u design a oscillator and count the pulses.

Neither. I used a capacitor charging up and a comparitor/op-amp. Here's another video with some more detail on the design: kzread.info/dash/bejne/kXWjlrp9m87NYso.htmlsi=7kZOiChFWGeJ_7Di

One thing I recall from the PDP-8 programmers reference was they actually recommended self modifying code, which is normally considered a big NO NO! This was to get around the very limited instruction set.

Many years ago, I used to maintain a PDP-8/I. It was used to enter telegrams. There were several terminals where the operators worked. The PDP-8 sent the telegrams to another computer, a Collins 8500, which sent them across the country and around the world.

Regarding your comment on the quality of the alligator clip connection. The whole point of the 4-point probe measurement that you are doing is that it is insensitive to the contact resistances. That's because you have constant current through two contacts and then zero current through the voltage measurement contacts. Just don't clip the voltage probes onto the current drive clips, which then would place the contact resistance within the section over which you are measuring the voltage drop!

Video was helpful. You took the measurement of one wire, and assumed 2 wires would double the resistance. In a perfect world, that would be true, but there could be test equipment effects - resistance relating to how the wire is connected to the test equipment. As a supplement, measure the resistance of an unbroken wire twice as long. That would be the base case compared to the Wago/Wirenut. Cut a wire and splice: How much resistance did the connection add.

Definitely more reliable- how would I know? Live in southern Louisiana, out of power 12 days due to Ida. Only residence in my development who had liquid cooled genny. Neighbors had to change oil every 48 hours, entire region out of 10w30 by four days, and I didn’t have to change till 480 hours. Day they installed my Cummins, replaced neighbors 7 y/o air cooler generac due to breakdown … with another air cooler genny. Regular maintenance that you can do yourself and expect 30,000 hours from a quality liquid cooler generator

they work great, i like the new style probes even more. they are designed to be set up at 45deg from tip to the base, but they will hold just about anywhere. ive actually had 20 of these set up on one dut, 3 ,4 channel sopes and 4 channel logic. theyre awesome.

Great tutorial.....I wasn't able to drag and drop the Graphic style default (13:14) in your video as shown...Do you know how to update that for 2024? When I opened my Glowforge template it doesnt show the fill blank and the stroke blank...It's not a big deal but it would be a great option to already have it in place....Thanks again....Easy to follow along with...

I just replaced my Sunsetter awning fabric and need to adjust the open and close positions for the first time. My motor is on the right side as I face the awning. I cannot adjust the settings because I believe the cover and switches are at the top and they are covered by the gutter! I see yours are at the side. Might mine be on the side as well? I see you removed the white bracket to get to it?

  • @ChrisMasto

All I know is what's in the video, unfortunately. If you have the same exact model as me (which may not be the case), then I think you need to get inside that cover. The motor is probably designed so it can be mounted on either side.

Hi Chris, I was just perusing some videos and happened across yours. Im impressed with your quick learning after just two tries... Congratulations! It took me longer than that when first starting out, LOL. I've been a warehouseman for longer than I care to admit, but after tens of thousands of pallets that I have inspected in my career, I think I can impart a little professional advice here. Please allow me 2 points for you and your future viewers. 1) The little metal cramps are normally called "clips", "seals", "Clamps" or even "sealer clips" by most general warehouse workers. and 2) the funky configuration of these clips is designed more for vertical orientation use rather than horizontally. (For those who've never seen one, look at the "L" in the Staples store signs logo where the top leg of the "staple" is folded over a bit) once the bands are tightened to desired tension, the person responsible for crimping would then hang the clip over both bands, using that bent over side positioned on the top like a hook, preventing it from falling off. Then they use the crimping or clamping tool sealer to secure it in place. I hope this helps a little. Thanks again for sharing your experience with us.

I"ve been making these "tortizzas" as I call them for at least 10 years now. You can't beat them for a quick meal. I use the identical method of a hot cast iron pan and about 2 minutes under the broiler. Paper thin onion slivers work really well too.
