Great work - amazing what you've done with this. I wonder if you could create a browser plugin to do the websocat thing (if that's even feasible).

Very nice upgrade. I did try it with the emulator before and I couldn't get it to work, so this looks like you removed a limitation. Cool!

What would be really awesome, but probably beyond my spare time at least, if not my capabilities, would be to add native websockets support to MAME, eliminating the need for the proxy. And then, since MAME can be compiled to wasm, in theory the whole thing should run in a browser.
