Great converter! Does the converter board require a power source, or is it pulling power from the NABU? Also, are the "Atari" joystick plugs the only option for a controller, or can the board/software be configured for a USB controller?

Power comes from the NABU. USB joysticks are theoretically supportable with this hardware but they are terribly complicated and every one has their own driver, so it would require more work than I am willing to put in. Always an option to fork or send a PR.

Great work! I've been quite interested in this project since you first posted it. Would there be any chance of having support for 4 joysticks as the older keyboards had 4 joystick ports?

Not from me. There aren’t even enough I/Os on the chip I’m using. It would be a total do-over of the board, and I’m pretty much done with the project. It’s open source so anyone who wants to spend the time on that could make one.
