A big pile of test and measurement tools

See if you can spot the one I forgot to mention.

I was waiting for the MFL. 15-Plug Audio Cable Tester Line Finder Black 15-in-1 Cables Checker 10-Way Switch Wire Tracker with LED Indicators No feeler gauges? No bore gauges? No radius gauges? No duromter / shore gauge? No lux / illumi meter? No torque wrenches? No thread pitch gauges? No load cells? No pressure gauges? No PH/PPM pens? Lol just kidding that’s a crazy dope collection. I’m sure you’ve got stuff you didn’t display too. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice collection! I've got a couple similar tools in my "things to measure stuff with" collection as well and even at least one of the exact same thing (I also have an FN58 USB tester, oh wait, yours is an FNB58... so close). We might also have the same Rigol power supply - definitely similar. I've been thinking about getting a stud finder like the one you have, I'm glad you mentioned that you think it works well! I might have to eventually get a set of multimeter tweezers too - they look handy! Happy New Year!

Wow, I thought that I had a lot of stuff! I switched every device that I own over to Energizer Lithium batteries a few years ago. I got sick of destroyed equipment, so the extra cost is worth it. I've never had an Energizer Lithium leak.

I have some things that require those lithium batteries, and I use them in some places where it's a chore to replace so I have to do it less often. But the extra cost is very extra, especially since the price more than doubled over the last few years (camelcamelcamel.com/product/B01C4PP8FK). They may still be worth it, but at nearly $3 for a single AA, it's painful.

I get annoyed having to clean the corrosion out of the battery compartment. You've got a task there...

Only two of them needed cleaning, but I found a few more sets of dead batteries. They've all been put back away empty so I don't have to worry about any more leaks, I'll just have to worry about finding a battery next time I want to use it.

You did miss one thing - the digital height gauge that's next to the micrometer - you mentioned the micrometer but never called out the height gauge 😛

Yeah, the dial indicator. (Which is a funny name for a digital one, because it doesn't have a dial)

@@ChrisMasto Yeah, I guess that is a dial indicator. I only see the digital ones setup in a stand to measure thickness, or depth of a hole. Hardly see anyone using the digital ones as a general purpose dial indicator. Sometimes the good ol' analog ones give more intuitive readings, especially when measuring variance across a surface!
