I don't think the ufc parting ways with usada had anything to do with conor, I just think the contract was up, and they went with another company by the time he fights he would have been in the pool for over 6 months and his been the most tested athlete since the take over of testing

Hopefully. In my opinion, if it comes only to looks- the weight gain is really beautiful on him. He looks more healthy than in his featherweight times BUT listen how he talks nowadays-all his stuttering on alcohol..., is concerning🤯 And that has nothing to do with health. Whatever he takes or how much he drinks, he should stop that and try to stay in this bigger shape in a natural way

@@sasla3259 Agreed the extra weight does loiok good, but looks are NOTHING if your mind degrades to that of a teenager with a mental illness.

As an organic chemist, yes chito's right it's really easy to synthesize analogs of known steroids. But no one has any idea what these synthetic molecules are doing to the body, long-term health wise. Plus, it will never be 100% pure, so they don't even know impurities are in that batch they're injecting.

Steroids and PEDs are actually good for combat sports and I will explain why: Fighters never stopped taking stuff, instead the USADA system just favored fighters from countries that had lax testing or had easily corruptible officials as well as fighters who could pay a coach who has been specialized knowledge on PEDs and/ or a chemist that can design designer PEDs that will not show up on a test. While it is true that fighters have to take LESS with testing to avoid positives they still are technically cheating. People say that drug testing keeps the sport fair but in my opinion it does the opposite by preventing fighters who have less money or are just starting off their career from accessing PEDs meanwhile elite fighters can have entire coaches dedicated to helping them dodge tests/ positives. PEDs can also help extend a fighters career or "prime". It is well known fighters have a physical prime, typically around 25-30 that often limits their ability despite their skills improving. This is because their natural testosterone decreases as they age, PEDs would prevent this and allow great fighters to continue being great later on into their careers. Many steroids are actually used medicinally in order to help heal injuries, allowing PEDs such as steroids, growth hormone and healing peptides for usage in combat sports would allow fighters who are injured to return quicker and healthier allowing them to fight more and of course reject fights due to being injured (something every combat sports fan hates to see) less. It would be better for the fighters and the fans is PEDs were allowed in sports. If you really think fighters were natural under usada then I would love for you to explain to me how paulo costa, israel adesanya, kamaru usman, etc never failed a single test.

The lack of transparency with Usada towards the end of their time was definitely an issue, but it only has gotten worse. I will say tho that it seemed like USADA outsourced to other firms for international fighters, so I’m not sure if this means anything for them
