Why Russian Muslims Are SO Dominant In MMA

Why Can These Fellas Seemingly Not Be Able To Lose?

Khabib himself gave away the secret to that success. Dagestanis come in to UFC with 150 amateur fights, plus another 200 street fights 😂 Meanwhile everyone else rushes to get to UFC just because they were spotted by some scout in the gym.

That and the discipline that comes from the roughness of their life. If you look at fighters with similar backgrounds from other countries its the same. Just look at Kimbo Slice or, today, Sean Strickland. And i dont even think i need to mention the undefeated Chael Sonnen

that and the way they train is better than bjj and all that other bullshit.. notice none of dagestanis get submitted by BJJ/armbar/leglocks they dont quit and sambo overtakes bjj easily..

@bane8305 this might be the most important thing and no one's talking about it, probably because they dont want to admit modern martial arts is more of a show than real fighting. Even someone with only moderate training in a real military martial arts, such as sambo, should be able to go against some of the best UFC fighters. And outside a ring the UFC fighter wouldn't stand a chance.

    - Genetics - Working environment: No partying, no drugs, more inclination to semen retention, more religious on top of that - Sambo and Wrestling as the martial art basis - The desire to get out of poverty and help their own countrymen (and poor people) - The leading, pioneering man; Khabib basically has lots of skillset and progression that can serve as good example and mould: > He is trained in Judo, Pankration, and even the army's practical martial art. A Wrestler is badass, but someone with those skillset is terrifying. > He is also further trained in AKA gym. I train BJJ in Russia, Vladivostok and Moscow, and I noticed a pattern. In every gym I had ever been too there were Chechens and Dagestanis. But unlike the Russians, who varied in age and skill, the Muslims were always adults and competitive purple belts or above. I had only run into maybe one chechen white belt my entire time there (after 6 years). So I think the answer is training from a young age. They either start from early adolescents and continue into adulthood or not train at all.

Correct!! Habib lived, literally, lived in the training camp when he was 10. Cook, eat, do own laundry, and train. Sometimes he won a fight twice in the octagon. He catches his opponents with arm triangle and tells them tap (tep his pronunciation) but if they dont, he does not increase the pressure and break their arms. Let them go and catch them again. So, not only he protected himself, he was also careful not to hurt his opponents badly. Never bled and rarely made small cuts on the fighters. In other words, we never saw completely unleashed Habib. He just displayed a bit of what he was capable of with a 30-0

About your history, I could literally go thru any countries past and show you times they were occupied, genocided or oppressed by other Empires or people's. Khamzat need to be coached or he will loose everytime he goes past 3rd. Khabib, gsp and jones that are never seemd tired are so much better at making ur opponent use much more energy then themselves. Khamzat needs to adjust his style so he can go for 5rounds or finish his fights in the 1 or 2r. Betting on finish all ur fights are not a smart move, Khamzat will only face better and better fighters and he cant finish all of them.

@@user-bq2mt7dh8zAdlan Amagov, Zubair Tukhugov, Mayrbek Taisumov, Adulkerim Edilov. Actually I take it back, Zubair wasn’t really good, but others had a lot of potential, the problem is that because of the regions Warlord Ramzan Kadyrov, many have problems with fighting in UFC. For example, Adlan was a winning spree, and they tried to reach out to him, and offer him fighting under their name (Akhmat), however he refused, so they told him that if they ever see him fight again, in any promotion, they’ll threaten his family, hence why he quit, but told the media that it’s for religious purposes. Now others have another kind of problem, like Taisumov and Khamzat, they become Ramzans fighters, and then they are not able to fight anywhere except for Abu Dhabi, because US bans them (neither Khamzat, nor Taisumov are able to get the visa). Edilov is on another level of being spoiled by Ramzan. After he won in UFC, Ramzan basically took him back to the Republic, and gave him a job in the government, and made him his kids babysitter (something we see happening to Khamzat as well, since Edilov was executed half a year ago). Basically, most of the problems are coming from the Republics leader. I know that they banned Zubair from coming home for a while, because he didn’t support them in Khabib vs Kadyrov argument about Imam Shamil (despite the fact that he just stayed silent). You are either playing in their team, and by their rules, or you don’t play at all., that’s how it is for the Chechens in UFC

I would assume Dagestanis would have been top tier MMA since the beginning of MMA if it was due to their training/genetics. Fedor was considered in the debate for the best heavyweight in the world back in the pioneer days, there was always plenty of Russian representation. However, there isn't anyone truly outstanding from Russia until the Dagestanis hit the scene and how are ALL of them better stat-wise than even the "best heavyweight of all time?" Yes training has a HUGE part in it and that is most of the formula for success, but I honestly think they are highly sophisticated dopers at the top level gyms. Especially being associated with Russia, they did government sanctioned doping in the Olympics. I mean there are plenty of fighters who have trained their whole lives, I don't think that is what makes them different. Back in the day before USADA, everyone including their momma was doping so no one really had much advantage over anyone (besides Bisping) It would make sense to me at a political level for Russia to be involved because if they get caught they can just denounce the "backwards cheating mountain people" (my guess on how they would try to word/frame it, not saying it myself lol). If they don't get caught, well they just have the best fighters in the world.

😂😂😂😂 It's not just about fighting, it's about endurance, lack of oxygen in the mountains, genetics. Dagestan is an occupied republic, it is a centuries-old struggle for Freedom. A struggle in every sense. Huge empires marched on Dagestan... Mongols, Persians, Caliphate... the people were dwindling in brutal confrontation... The huge Russian empire eventually destroyed millions of Circassians, Chechens, Dagestanis and occupied Dagestan, Chechnya, Greater Circassia... We are under occupation! But nothing is finished, the lying Russian empire, the occupier, will get out of our land!
