Zoe Discovers

A different perspective on North Korea.

Who am I?

Hello! I'm Zoe and I'm from the UK. I'm here to give you a different insight into North Korea, from someone who has called it their second home for more than 3 years. I'm a tour guide taking foreign visitors from China on tours to visit North Korea.

I'm not here to play into the media role of saying how crazy and terrifying North Korea is. There are plenty of vlogs out there who give you that "experience".

I'm here to give facts, answer questions, and show a human insight into the DPRK (North Korea).

I'm not paid by anyone; including the company I work for, the North Korean government, or... anyone else you might think. I do this to show North Korea how I see it.

i do not think people are saying the country is fake. the government do put on a "show" for tourist to make it look like things are better than they are. the bigger cities like this, things are pretty "normal" as only the elite are in those cities. so there is a huge show trying to make tourist think the whole country is like that, when most of the country is starving to death! that is what people are saying as being "fake" what you see as a tourist is not reality for most of the people in NK

Hello! I have a few questions if that is okay? 1. I used to be extremely religious (hindu/muslim family...I know weird LOL) but I've stopped being religious. However, I have some visible tattoos from my time practicing those religions. I keep them instead of removing them because it was a part of me and my journey to where I am now. Will this be considered religious materials? 2. I have some political tattoos (judge me if you'd like) but they are communist/soviet in nature. Will these be an issue? 3. I am learning Korean and I am reading some of the writings of Kim Il-Sung in Korean. I assume this would be okay to bring in/to ask questions about? But if not, better to know ahead of time than not. Also are there editions of their books available in Greek? My native language? :) One of the major reasons I want to go is to bring home a suitcase FULL of books in both the Korean and Greek (or English if Greek is not available) languages to continue to study. My degree was in political philosophy and I just find Juche fascinating haha.

I lived 27 years of my life under Ceausescu's Dictatorship in Romania till 1989 and it was not funny at all. North Korea is a lot more extreme... very sad... Myself I remember the days when we were hungry watching in front of the showcases of the so-called "SHOPS" where only the western Foreigner could shop... There was all kinds of "good stuff to eat" there ... and we could only observe through the window. Or the cold and darkness when our heating and electricity were turned off. Or when we were only allowed to watch TV for 2 hours a day and then only watch a dictator... That's why there is a difference if you make a trip in such a country out of curiosity or if you HAVE to live there. Also it was forbidden to have contact with foreigners... and much more. Many things that only citizens of the affected country know and foreigners do not notice. Thats why... VERY SAD.

This channel is pretty shit. The government of NK is evil and you are making content that Kim Jong Un would be proud of, I bet he is loving all those different propaganda accounts which some are controlled by his government. Nothing is by accident, you are a piece of propaganda wether you are independent or not.

The Bamboo Sea is a scenic postcard of China. It is very shocking. The air is very comfortable, and you can also taste bamboo delicacies and ancient buildings. I have been to the Bamboo Sea, and the landforms and scenery are indeed very unique. It is the Chinese version of the Grand Canyon, but it is full of bamboo forests and rivers, caves and aerial cable cars,Hollywood movie shooting base... I suggest you go on-site to travel and explore instead of reading the critical comments of Taiwanese people online. The Bamboo Sea scenery is unique to China and is a unique scenery of China, while the bamboo forest is not. Sichuan culture is very Thick and so is its food. This is why it has fascinated Hollywood and Disney many times Disney’s new animated films, Come With My Youth(Turning Red) and The Elemental, both have a lot of Sichuan elements The MEI MEI that accompanies my youth(Turning Red), MEI MEI is the red panda of Sichuan Elemental The fire element girl inside is Sichuan pepper culture SICHUAN style Disney animation MULAN Mulan Show in Disneyland Paris 2001 kzread.info/dash/bejne/qIOcubeRodzRf9Y.html Mulan 2 - Groupe CGC 2017 kzread.info/dash/bejne/p3akxqasj5XQeZs.html 1998 Mulan Parade 90S music kzread.info/dash/bejne/nqCc2sydc83Me5M.html Mulan 2 BGM music kzread.info/dash/bejne/mWGVtq6HfJypn8Y.html Mulan 2 ICE SHOW 2010 kzread.info/dash/bejne/aYWam5KdYdnHmco.html Mulan 2 ICE SHOW 2011kzread.info/dash/bejne/p6Bo3KqfqLHFeZc.html Mulan II Lesson Number One Tai Chi Dance Tutorial kzread.info/dash/bejne/i2SozY-KhJPZkto.html Mulan Parade at Disneyland 1998 kzread.info/dash/bejne/o2GhqamyqbS9g7g.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/jIl9mrasacybiqQ.html Shanghai Disney kzread.info/dash/bejne/fIeLrKeFYLDZZ9Y.html 100% worth the experience! Lovely views in the border of North Korea (DPRK) amidst the current situations growing worse and possibility of WWIII could happen, especially the tensions amongst Korean Peninsulas recently like Putin's Visit to NK. And tbh, I am genuinely still waiting for Zoe to visit DPRK and see a new Songhwa Street in Pyongyang with newly built 80-storey skyscrapers and get a full lift ride to the top floor to oversee the city above. Speaking about North Korea, the ups and downs about social media is imminent, especially the propaganda vloggers like Song A and Yumi (with fake name Sally and Olivia) (with possibility of other vloggers with fake names like Alex and few others). You'll be easily figure it out at next video about internet concerns and rising trend of new NK Pop song went viral like Friendly Father recently and last-year's upgrading trend of North Korea Pop into look-like BTS & Blackpink styled concert with nationalistic looking like In This Sky On This Land by Jang Hang Ran kind of singer. You should explained it! Greets from Indonesia.
