Thx. As someone who lives in the southern half of the peninsula, it's interesting. In an ambiguous sense, various thoughts come to mind.

im an american myself who really wants to move to NK. zoe i think your intentions are super pure in this interview but i urge you to err on the side of caution. reason being, i think his motivation was religious. for example, the mormons colonized hawaii through the use of religion (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Church_of_Jesus_Christ_of_Latter-day_Saints_in_Hawaii#:~:text=A%20new%20colony%20for%20Hawaiian,building%20of%20a%20temple%20there.) and it sounds to me like this guys motivation was largely in the interest of christian nationalism. i hope im wrong, but i dont think i am unfortunately.

Thanks for the comment! Actually I’m very aware of this and religion and I see it myself when I lived in Tonga - Christianity clashes with the traditional way of life of the people there in a lot of ways. However I’m not sure it was his intentions. I actually a few times tried to push the conversation in the way of religion and found that he answered casually and not once did he bring it up himself (unless it’s a small passing comment I’ve forgotten) and it’s only when I pushed him did he talk about it. Either way I found that for a Christian he didn’t actually push the convo that way. As for his intentions only he can say for sure but I trust they were good

@@DummyThiccOwO I live in the US, haven't been able to find a job in almost a year, have several chronic illnesses now and no healthcare, and I'm about to be homeless. You werent sincere in asking that question but there's the answer (you don't deserve an answer btw)

Wait what? I was genuinely asking because I was curious, I'm sorry if it seemed like I wasn't somehow.
