My heart sank when they started moving around and cleaning. All the radiated dust being stirred up, and then they drank ALL the nuclear rain water. Along with the poorly stored water they kept before the blast. Just terrifying

Not only did the lion and the bear original sketch frighten my daughters but they also found the funny man wearing a berry hat (not sure if I spelled it correctly) that use to turn on the lights in the house freaky and use to hide under their bed clothes thinking he was standing at the end of their beds.

I think the suits are at their best when they try to stick to the ideas behind the 1954 Godzilla design, scabby scharred skin to resemble radiation burns on skin, ghostly pale eyes inspired by the rage felt by the ignorant forces of Japan's defeated fascist era, and even the victims of Nagasaki and Hiroshima from their pain and suffering, tall with a stocky bottom, abrownish tint to the charred gray skin, and big long arms with long claws. I also think it'd e cool if they went in a more realistic sci-fi horror direction of instead of giving Godzilla atomic laser breath like he's had for some time, of going back to beathing a dense mist of hazardous and fatal radiation clouds, and still hot smoke billowing from in between his jagged teeth. Just going as menacing as possible as you could with this design

My idea is there was still immense heat required to create his radiation breath, not outright laser or fire breath like most american OR japanese designs have had, but just for a beast of this size, his stomach acids must burn hotter than the sun. Nukes doing coccaine essentially.

Like with most late 90's and early 00's Cartoon Network show, I loved this one. Never really gave a second thought about the colors of the skin or their personalities, I was just a silly little kid that just enjoyed some cartoons. But I recently rewatched a couple of episodes here on KZread and I find Lucien to be so annoying sometimes because of the way he is. For example is the episode with head lice. Utterly disgusting little critters that crawl in your hair that nobody wants, but Lucien here wants them to live in his hair and values them as if they are important living beings. Towards the end of the episode he was sad that he was getting de-liced. I'm pretty sure no one in their right mind wants head lice in the first place, but he loves them. I'm sure that if this show would've aired in modern times rather than back then, he'd perfectly fall in to a modern woke person and try his best to cancel whatever doesn't suit him, which he already tries to within the show, but he'd take it to the extreme.

I actually loved it! I’ve been a fan of stop motion since I was a kid watching “James And The Giant Peach” every day tho lol and I like Jordan Peele as a writer. To hear that Henry Selick directed it and Jordan Peele wrote it explains why I liked it lol
