You mean the guy who owed the Templars a ton of money had a vested interest in eliminating them? Ya don't say?

Misinformation sadly, Salahuddin defeated both invaders and kept peace in Jerusalem for 600 years. He gave safe passage to Muslims, Christians and Jews alike. He refused to massacre any civilians in retaliation for the Christians massacring the Jews and the Muslims. Respect to both for fighting with honor but I wanted to correct any misinformed commenters

Your Heptarchy map is completely wrong. Strathclyde did NOT stretch down into Lancashire before the Viking attacks. And the Mersey was Northumbria's border with Mercia. The Ribble was only ever the border of the DIOCESE of Lichfield, and that AFTER the Viking period.

either way i think the film does a pretty well job of showing the caliber of these men. we have no idea if they respected eachother but the film does a good job of highlighting what they did for their respective kingdoms

The Templar’s started because of the ordinary “knight” which were seen as the time frame thug. All Templar knights were monks

So the templars never stopped but they just changed their name throughout history. So today they would be called the hiden government. They were the ones who roamed thebEarth right before the English sent people over the north America. Whats intersting is the first ship had prisoners and soulders. So the thing about Australia being an island madebuo of criminals. So was the US.

Raynald of Chatillon was also unofficially in command of the entire army at Montgisard where Saladin was defeated (as the king was only 16 at the time and had little military experience), which is the battle that Baldwin IV mentions in the movie
