  I just got a gordon high precision detector from habro freight. Im used to finding jewleery with my eye around bars sidewalks and parking lots. ..... i had not considered that its going to detect everything. It has a pin pointer. .... but since this my first detector i dont k now if i have a hunk if junk. .. i live in knoxville. Theres alot if civik stuff everywhere. ... harbor freight said no problem bring it back. Im probably going to shell out more money for better quality, but i want a warrenty. Most stores dont have anything in the store. Because everything is "on-line".. im willing to spend $500. Maybe more. I found a cartier engagement ring valued at $1,200 so im willing to even spend that. I have with my eye found about 1.5 ounces of sterling silver broken jewlery l, and 1 18k white gold cartier ring. Its when i found the ring i said, ok lets take this to the next level. Yesterday i was a glorified nail and bottle top finder. I had some ideas about scrapping up the gutter build up in parking lots. ..

  I'm using my Bounty Hunter Tracker IV to find my property marker stakes (basically a length of rebar set in the ground under the grass), I found them once before, but am having trouble now. I have run it over the one that I have dug up and exposed to use as a comparison, but am having a lot of trouble finding the other ones, do you have any suggestions for this situation?

  Hunt in all metal. Disc or tone will detect any iron. And run the sensitivity as high as possible.

  @@AmericanDetection I'll give it a shot. I found them before, but one of them is being a real pain (I did find a rusty nail though 🤣), and rocks give off false positives 😖Thanks for the response!

  Russ - I am going to Maine for vacation. Where I am staying has a little beach area that folks congregate too during the day. What would be my best settings to find stuff other than bottle caps? The beach is 30 feet in depth and about 50 feet wide. Sand - no dirt.

  On the beach, I’d get a scoop and dig EVERYTHING it’s not hard digging on the beach and small gold chains will sound like iron. That’s true with almost all detectors.

  Tracker 4 is a can't miss, 71 bucks on amazon, i found a 650 dollar ring with it....Only problem i have is i'm 6'1" and its a little short when swinging.

  Is it waterproof? I see it had an o ring on battery cap but the dial makes me think it’s not? Like your videos I actually bought the BH tracker 4 seems to work great.

  Finding coins six inches down? You might get 6 inches barely on an air test. More like 5 1/2 inches which I've tested. In actual soil, you get more like 3 inches. If there is a way to get 6 inches in actual soil, I'd like to know how.

  Russ what about the regular Time Ranger? It has a lot of bells and whistles does the "pro" version have all the things on the regular Time Rangers lcd screen? Also how doe's it compare to the Tracker 4 and Land Star ?

  2 Tips: 1. Figure out a way to connect a cord to the battery door and the other end of the cord to another part of the detector. 2. Paint the door a BRIGHT color (White, Orange ect) so it will be easier to spot on the ground if you lose it. Hope this helps. 🤪 .

  I've noticed First Texas products has a 12 inch DD coil for Fisher, Bounty Hunter, and Teknetics. Is the 12 inch coil your showing interchangeable with all First Texas metal detectors? Or does each company make a 12 inch coil specific to their product?

  Question: I have the Bounty Hunter Pioneer 101. I See no difference between 101, and the Tracker lV in appearance other than one word on the control display. In your Opinion, is there Any or only a little difference between the two in how they Perform? Thanks in advance. .

  I have a Tracker IV, it's a solid Machine. I would say the bounty hunter fast tracker and the bounty hunter quick silvers also need honorable mentions.

  I just ordered the quick draw 2. Amazon. But I don’t see it on bounty hunter detector list. Hope that’s what I get. The land star was the only detector Ever in my 20 years I was disappointed with
