Another spot often over looked is around the mailbox if there is one. I remember taking stamp money to the mailbox for my grandmother many times. You could buy stamps from the mail man. I remember dropping my share of change too.

I see that Jeremi had the same idea that I had. I grew up in the country and if my Mom didn't have a stamp she would put actual coins in with the mail!

The one thing that kills me is in pretty much every metal detecting video when someone finds a coin they rub the dirt and stuff off of it to see the date and what it is. That's like taking sandpaper to a coin. Condition is everything especially with older coins. Please stop doing that. Even on some that might be poor you're just damaging it more. Secondly, the tip I'm about to give you can increase the value of your coin finds without even finding more coins and the above certainly applies as well. Did you know that error coins are worth more than the face value and they're pretty prevalent? Even with brand new coins. For example on some pennies if the A and M in AMERICA are real close together they have sold for hundreds of dollars. If the words are offset or double stamped they also fetch more money. So if you can sell a penny for even a few dollars you just upped your daily value without finding more coins.

I hear you and it is a very valid point. I've never dug an insanely valuable key date, error, or rare coin, so I've never ruined it because of rubbing, but it very easily could happen.

I mean good video, but hard to look past the most productive areas also being in your least productive areas.... kind of takes away the impact of the video tbh
