I had a white coin master pro, Garrett ace 150 .A friend gave me a TK4 cause bottom rod he broke, Bounty Hunter told me to check the battery box cause I was going to buy a rod and then said no cost still under warranty and sent me a free rod and it out did my white and Garrett so now I use Bounty Hunter,Fishers and Teknetics.

Hey Keith -Yeah it's crazy how often I hear things like that about the TKIV. It's certainly been a long time underrated, fan favorite. Let's go Team FTP!!!

Great video! The tracker 4 is a diamond in the rough! I overlooked it for higher priced detectors for so long. Figured I would try one. Found one for a steal with a scratch and dent box on amazon. The detector was in perfect as new shape. I took it out for the first time recently and it blew my mind. It was quite in the trashy park and found quite a few coins. Light and easy to swing too! Made in the USA, 5 yr warranty, and great performance. Whats not to like 👍

I agree with you Russ the Bounty Hunter tracker 4 is without a doubt the best bang-for-the-buck. I don't know how many guys I've known that were just starting out in the field of metal detecting that purchased this unit and absolutely loved it. I go back a little further than this unit though. LOL. I started out back in the seventies with the Bounty Hunter Red Baron metal detector. Don't even know how many guys out there can remember that one still. LOL.

Wow the Red Baron! I've seen pictures but have never seen one in person. I collect old detectors so hopefully I'll see one come available on one of the auctions sites. Thanks for the great comment Danny!

What happens if you move the detector slower????

The tracker 4 is definitely the best entry level detector for the price. But, for a hundred dollars more you can get the Minelab Vanquish 340 with Multi IQ technology. Thats a big step up. I would like to see a better depth comparison on the models. I'm curious how deep they'll go and if any are deeper than the other. Good video though. Happy hunting!!

Hey CreekGeek- I can surely do a depth comparison between the models, GREAT idea. And another $100 is a big step up in cost too, I mean that's double again the price of these detectors. The video is for that person who didn't want to spend or couldn't over $100 for a good detector. But, I get what you're saying. Thanks for the input and keep on diggin!

Hello Lou- The Gold Digger is a great little machine. The biggest downside to the Gold Digger is that the coil isn't waterproof. So, If you are looking for a waterproof coil under $100 the Tracker IV is probably your best bet.

Yes it does, Rick. The Tracker Pro is a lot like the Eurotek and doesn't have the discrimination circuitry of the TKIV.

I would look at the Time Ranger Pro for nuggets. You need a higher kHz and the Time Ranger Pro is 19 kHz.

I'll never understand why people buy Chinese metal detectors when they can choose between quality American made products such as these
