Another thing with the Morkvarg quest is that if you only do it later on with Yen she gives you a hint to feed him his own flesh and she says it in a funny and cheeky way as a stupid remark trying to tell geralt to think of something proper himself, yet it actually does solve the problem. I only learned about this in videos myself, because I usually do all the side questing first before I proceeded with the main story.

Did they fix the brother in law quest in the next gen update btw? or maybe its because i use the brothers in arms mod? But I had no problem with him dieing, was easy peasy quest. the only annyong part was to wait for the waves which was just kinda meh. I dont think it took like super long though. Maybe they did improve it or maybe i have a poor memory but I just played it like 2 weeks ago and it was my first replay since release basically.

If you even watched Season 1 of this show, you are part of the problem and why these types of things will keep happening. There was ample information in the trailer to show you exactly what this show was eventually going to be. When will you people stop falling for the grift? You know they still accomplish their goals even when the series gets cancelled after a few seasons right? The only solution is not to fall for the grift at all. Only then will they stop grifting (maybe).

I assume Olgierd was given something vague like "to be able to be with one person you love the most" and the twist was that he loved both his future wife and brother the most and equally so, but he was only able to be with one of them according to the wish thus Gaunter killed the other. I'm not sure if the wish was phrased a tiny bit different like implying that they would marry as well or something, else Gaunter might have killed Iris instead? But maybe he wanted to enjoy the suffering so killing his brother was much more effective anyway. We know that Gaunter was likely manipulating the contract when it was written, so it no longer would be how Olgierd would actually say things but rather Gaunter probably proposed many things in certain ways or wrote them down knowing very well how to trick people. At least thats my theory. I dont think Olgierd would have actually given up his brothers life just to marry Iris knowingly.

Seems like complete disrespect for the source material and vitriol for the fanbase isn't a good recipe for making a good adaptation of a beloved series. Eventually these idiots will get tired of wasting money and learn. Henry Cavill tried his best to be faithful to the characterization of Geralt and the source material, but the showrunners were hellbent on sending a message to DA TOXIC FANS more than they were in making a good show. Always thougt the Witcher universe was perfect to setting a strategy/war game. Imagine a game were you choose to play as one of the kings from Witcher universe (Foltest, Emyr, Radovid, Anna Henryetta, Crach an Craite, etc...) and admnistrate their kingdoms, with their particularities on troops and admninistration, to dominate the whole continent. It would be a very nice add to the franchise, since it also has this political side that is always explored on the main games.

The final straw for me was non chalantly revealing that Emhyr var Emreis is Ciri's father That's after the unrelated to the books plot which I was ok with. I saw that as a contract in the game. But that reveal did it for me.

So Rhosyn escaped from the battlefield during the battle but somehow managed to give orders about hanging soldiers near that battlefield? I think that battle was first, and the hanging happend right after. During the quest we get the info that Nilgaard won this one, soldiers with white flower on shields were escaping and throwing their shields as the defeated ones. It can't be the same Rhosyn. Mentioned thing about his unfiorm is also worth noting i think. It also should be added that Rhosyn is hiding in the village after the quest - if he was a viceroy of province of Temeria how he could hide by working on a field in a village controlled by Nilfgaard with nilfgaardian garrison and a lot of patrols?

i got witcher 2 for free on the xbox360 thourgh the _GAMEZ FOR GOLD_ campaign (monthly free games with the subscription, standard stuff now) and on my second time playing it i got through it kind of grudgingly. the finer points of the plot were nigh-on impenetrable to me cause i didnt know nothing bout no witcher before this. the super edgy writing and the janky gameplay were a constant annoyance. but i made it through! now having read the books i can respect the game from a distance, but no way im playing this clunker again xD at least i had fun laughing at geralt and letho's dumb voices. they way big man says "character" and "temper tantrums" at 1:10:38 still makes me giggle

Let's also remember when a former Witcher writer (Beau deMayo, who went on to showrun X-Men '97) called out the other writers for mocking the source material. I wondered if that was the last straw for Cavill, since it was just a few days after deMayo's statements that Cavill announced he was leaving. Also, re the writer that was to showrun The Rats, who has no other credits besides The Witcher- she got the Witcher job in the first place because she took a writing seminar from the Witcher's showrunner, Hissrich. That was her only qualification.

I like tris, monkey brain go Brr like that, but i dont like her past, and how shes so quick to manipulate. mabey she changes but as long as she is part of the lodge, no thanks. but i like tris more than Yenefer for a more personal reason. Yen looks and acts like my ex, and i dont need that in my life anymore. haha so yeah, ill run the single father figure role if it were possible and fenagle with whom ever is fun for the time being xD
