I gotta hand it to Morgan&Morgan. I was wondering where the ambulance-chaser lawyer joke was going, and it turns out the sponsor was totally on board with it. Great for them! Makes me think more highly of them. Also, I have to ask: Is one of the Morgans named Arthur? Different game, but...

I'm really wondering why this wasn't included in the patch notes? Changes like this is kind of important to know if you're used to the way it worked previously. Witcher 3 is an amazing game, but man they should really put more details in the patch notes if they're making big changes to core abilities and upgrades

I like the new update to Yrden. Especially when combined with the Griffin school gear. When you equip the full set, Yrden is larger, makes stamina regenerate faster, and allows you to cast two signs back to back as long as they’re within 3 seconds of each other. Helps a lot with groups of enemies. Especially arachnamorphs.

I think it would be great if you continued this series of videos about the hidden changes made. It is a shame that CDPR didn't include an exhaustive list, and thank you so much for cataloging these!
As a huge potion enthusiast I'd definitely love to watch a video about the changes made to potions.. just started a new playthrough and I did plan to focus on sword fighting this time around since it's something I haven't done before but with these changes I don't think I will
@stompingpeak2043

I started a new build doing both. I have the heightened tolerance or whatever and I use a decoction for whatever I feel is necessary at the time. So I can also use a potion or two and not kill myself from toxicity. Along with all the oils. It's only level 26 so far but still pretty solid. Idk what I'll eventually do once I get to Toussaint and get the extra witcher mutations but magic/sword is still very good. Especially if you do the bare minimum for oils and potions. Everything is needed in this game imo. Sword is very good if you go heavy attack early and eventually you'll have the most efficient thing pre end game. Fast attacks are great for endgame once you are properly geared out but they will still not have the damage of heay. Fast is just easier to do because you don't get punished.
@EXRDaBeasta
Жыл бұрын
Loving my sword/Quen playthrough atm. First time ever playing the Witcher. Use a little igni here and there. Been a great experience and anything within a few levels is still pretty easy. I love the fast attacks personally because I feel like I'm doing more damage while also not getting punished as much. Heavy just seems way too slow for me. Regardless, I def recommend having fun with the swords.

@@EXRDaBeasta this is the best/easier way to play The Witcher, use the cat armor/sword and equip perks that increases your sword damage. You can also combine with some potions and oils. I did the heartstone dlc level 18 on deathmarch
Thanks to these changes, Flood of Anger became an extremely strong perk, with it upgraded to the max you get to cast the shockwave aard perk with an increased intensity of 300% when at max adrenaline points, it enables me to play the euphoria build while still making pretty good use of signs. (this works with everything, if you have max adrenaline you can cast the active shield quen, make yirden traps, or cast firestream without having any of it unlocked)
You make amazing videos! Keep making more!!
Love this video (and the one about armor changes)! I'd gladly watch videos about perk and potion changes as well.
Yes please to more videos covering the changes!
Glad to have stumbled on this video. I began a new play through and I wondered why Active Shield wasn’t healing me faster. Love the Aard explanation, super clear on how to use it and where the spells will taper off.
I actually loved the way you incorporated the sponser into the vidoe. it made me watch the whole thing. Good job!
Thanks for doing this! It gives all the info I need without much fluff. And yes, I would love to know about the other changes made, like Runewright etc
Thank you for this amazing video! You know as I watch your newest uploads I keep getting a stronger need to make a proper Witcher 3 build as I play through the game, and ng+. I would love for you to cover something like that as I feel like you know your stuff and what's already on youtube is a bit lackluster, especially with hybrid types of builds (sword-sign build etc...). If we could hear your take on some witcher builds I know you'd find an excited audience! 🙏

preciate the update man.
I'd love to see a detailed guide on the changes to alchemy, especially the protection against foes of the same oil you use against them. Also great idea a video about the changes to runewright, like those useless runewords with Yrden, are they good now?

after playing witcher 1 for the first time recently i desperately miss the oils and potions system from that game, properly preparing with potions since they had either lengthy animations or couldnt be used during combat (i cant quite rememeber which was the case) and oils being duration based instead of with charges was a much more immersive and enjoyable system to me than pausing every 2 minutes during combat to reapply oils

I’m going to watch every single video of yours. Quality content every time. And right now I’m very curious about the next-gen changes because it feels different but sometimes I can’t figure out why.
Would love to see a video on the runewright changes.
I love all of these videos. So, anything covering the reworks are all of importance to me. I got very comfortable with the known and understood builds and mutations and runework because of all the years of playing this game since release. So, it's kinda fun to have to re-learn and rediscover what will now work in the next gen version. And you're showcasing changes and explaining things I'm not seeing anywhere else at all. I lean heavily into oils, and anything covering the changes to runeworks would be awesome. Also, that Morgan and Morgan sponsor portion was great. It was genuinely funny, fitting a channel about The Witcher, while still making me aware of the services they provide. If I need to find an injury attorney, I will know who to call. If only Dijkstra had known this when Geralt "shoved Dijkstra aside."

As I started my new playthrough I wanted to do a(almost full) sign build and at level 14/15 I really love the Petri's philter potion with which I can do pretty much 100% long duration knockdowns, I don't know how it was before but that's just what I figured out and my aard only has far reach for now
Please do a video about the potions/decoctions and Runewright! Will you to a builds Guide as well?

I only started playing after the update, and only got Active Shield further on, so I didn't really notice what you'd mentioned but it's good to know for my second playthrough where I'm not going to invest in signs much
Really enjoy your content, bro. Hope there's enough Witcher material to keep you going until the next game.
Certainly not expecting an ad like that on a game content
I haven’t really invested in sign’s during any of my play throughs but I just started a new one and might try putting more points in signs with these changes
I would love to see one about potions and bombs. I love playing heavy armor alchemy builds.
Really looking forward to see what they did to fix that swindler Runewright!
That Piercing Cold nerf really got me Got to the DLC yesterday and was excited to make the build I used to play back at 2017
hey Neon, love your videos on CDPR games, so, i wanted to know what happened to the video on the enchantments guide for the next gen update you did a while earlier this year? i was watching it a bit over these days for guidance, cause i'm lvl 9 and i want to go really slow but also plan my build for when i'm far ahead in the game, and your video was perfect to explain it, but it just disapeared 2-3 days ago
Mate ur a freaking genius of ad integration
Just curious, what were the changes to enchantments thst you mentioned at the end of the video? Also as a follow up question, did you notice if they fixed Hunter instinct? Before it capped at 20% extra damage, I wonder if they fixed it to actually be 10p
Please do make those videos. I'd love to see them.
Subbed to see more videos ,plz make the ruins one next if that's possible
Great video, I know nothing about the signs and just guessing on which ones to increase. I use the fire one a lot and the trap one fighting certain enemies that's about it. A tutorial video would be much appreciated
Would really like a video on the runewright rework!
Do the potions video, I’m curious what law firm would sponsor that one
Lawyer ad with Witcher music is the best part of the video.
Literally just popping in to the comments to say that is the best segue into a sponsored ad, that I have ever heard! Oh, and love your content :)
Awesome changes 🎉😊 makes the Game interesting again!
YO what's that red armor you were using while explaining igni?
I usually skip ads but this one got me intrigued, so I watched it even though I'm not one of their potential customers.
Please do make those other videos. Otherwise I can't know what's been changed without testing myself or going through all those mod descriptions, and I don't have that kind of patience. So I would appreciate any more videos that detail changes in the next gen update.
GREAT info!! and for free!! holy shit, the work you had to do to make this video! I love the buffs to aard and yyrden (hate the nerfs) specially because of the newlly added witcher school armor set (netflix).
19 years alive first time seeing a law ad in youtube
I literally did not skip the sponsor portion because I wanted to know what law firm wanted to sponsor a Witcher video. Good foresight on both their and your parts. More random third parties should be willing to do this, keeps things interesting.
Been a long time since last I played this game, but I recall often building around Aard and using Piercing Cold. Kind of sucks how they nerfed that.
Alright, that might just have been the only sponsor segment I have watched in it's entirety.
Lol that Morgan&morgan ad, great to see they have a sense of humor!
Does anybody know how much Quen intensity I need to make Active Shield (somewhat) usable again? Haven't been able to find the exact info so far.
Do you know how sunder armor works in the next gen patch? It was never really clear if it was a debuff applied by heavy attacks that you could take advantage of with light attacks, or if it's heavy attacks only
A Video about the changes in bombs potions and runewright would be awesome, to be honest I have never paying potions and decoctions not much thought outside of swallow, golden pirole, black blood and cat, cause i deemd the poison style builds with decoctions and such no fun. also never really used bomb builds. With your insight I might also gain some and try new ways of play
I just want to say I would personally be very interested in knowing all the stuff they’ve changed in the game. Regardless of how good it does man if you put out stuff like that I think you’ll get more subs because people will know you’re reliable
i still cant believe that was a thing:DDDD

I really think that the piercing cold " nerf"was done because of the new armor , the forgotten wolven set, this armor with piercing cold is almost broken" na it is broken!! and since the bonus is on Aard combine with yrden I have all enemies die in seconds and they freeze albeit if you build around that particular armor
