Rob Dyrdek & Jesse Itzler live their life under this philosophy. And both swear by it and if you think about it, it makes sense, it just does. I’m gonna to adopt this and see how it works out.

I’m a 58 yrs old female. I do calisthenics & only use my body weight for squats. I’m really big about stretching! I do everything that has to do with joint mobility. I workout until I can’t do one more rep. Then I get very tired for a couple of days while I’m in recovery. Then I go back at it again.

This is so incredibly important. 😲This is the heart of the teaching of Christ! 🙏 Not doing what you want, but what you must, this is what the Saints learned. It’s doing the Divine Will!! When you don’t do your own will, you Are doing The Divine Will. 🙏🕊

how about doing you homework and telling why they got it wrong, actually in the 50's, They knew foods were not raising cholesterol and had no proof that Cholesterol caused heart decease. The sugar industry paid for studies to show that cholesterol and not sugar was the culprit, and that paper trial showing the pay off has been published in 2015, but you and others still quote studies that say Cholesterol is the cause of heart decease.....And that lame comparison you make of smoke causing lung cancer is the same as Cholesterol causing heart decease... you can stop with that one as well.

Another example of another guy that just tries to talk with complete confidence and states things as fact that are not fact. Many if not most of the studies he refers to ( but never specifically calls out ) have been questioned and mostly over turned because they were biased for the sugar industry. My investigating has shown that yes Cholesterol is present with many people that have heart issues, but many, many have heart issues and have low Cholesterol, and many, many have high Cholesterol and no heart conditions. Not just a very few, enough that the numbers don't point at Cholesterol as the cause. Yes if you have the issues that injure your arteries at key locations, and your Cholesterol is high, it is created to repair that injury, you will have faster and more build up, but the Cholesterol is not the cause of the injury and if you do not have this part the equation ( no injury ) then Cholesterol does not harm you. So he is right about the lower Cholesterol in those cases, but for me it is more important to treat the real issue which is the damage to the Artery walls, Normalize your blood pressure, eliminate carbohydrates, eliminate processed foods, Exercise. If you have an issue with your body making too much cholesterol. diet is not going to change that, and these medications are messing people up as well as opening them up to other causes of morbidity because their Cholesterol is too low. And these guys "confidently" stating half the facts is doing even more harm! Don't listen to either of us.....do your own homework!

So, I decided to delete my Instagram, facebook when i was in my early 20's. Currently I'm in my late 20's now. Speaking from my own experience, i would say it is so much better. I would highly recommend not using it, but If you cannot do that. I would highly recommend social media detox from time to time. Life is so much peaceful and the Fomo disappears, the constant urge to just scroll through the feeds & waste time is of no use. If i can do it You can do it too. My best wishes to anyone who reads this ❤

I think this is highly individualistic. And of course, like with anything, it all boils down to moderation. Ive had insomnia since my teenage years and I only started smoking before bed a few years ago, and I’m in my 30’s. Indica strain is the only thing that has helped me sleep. Without it, I won’t sleep. No melatonin doesn’t work. I lead a very healthy lifestyle as well (fyi). Either way, I don’t think anyone should consider this video clip as the deciding factor. Just do what works for you folks.

This is great. I just have one question. During the bird dog I thought that we were supposed to use the arm knee swing as respite from the contraction i stead of actually contracting while doing the swing.

Dr. Huberman, I would to hear how this fits within other neuroscience regarding identity formation based on group/family culture and attachment. It seems as though the evidence is at odds with each other on the surface since our natural reactions are birthed out of the part of the brain our identity is based.

I think referring to it as detaching is disingenuous. What you are recommending is to approach every problem reasonably and with patience. “Detachment” is how people who don’t know how to process negative emotions “react“ when overly challenged. This leads to shutting down and disengaging. Especially when that conflict is interpersonal.

thanks for doing this. I had L3-L4 nerve roote compression and needed surgery but i just waited it out. It did get a bit better tho i have residual arthritis and some SI issues along with L4-L5 issues and the T’s have spinal stenosis. I think this is really useful because i’m working on strenthening on my core to get better. My mother has had major back issues since her 20’s and swears on just working on you muscles in your abdomen.
