Honestly. So deep and calm.
Doing NSDR for 30 minutes refreshes me. It feels like I slept for 8 hours.
Thank you Huberman for recording another NSDR protocol. Doing NSDR has been really effective for me in releasing stress stored in my body and helps to slow down my overthinking brain. I hope it will help others to fully relax like it helps me, while still being awake.

Literally doctor huberman I scold myself to not do this before... Today actually I went to play cricket in direct sunlight at afternoon and then also played a little football due to which my body was extremely exhausted..... And right now when I did this I am feeling a completely new human being.... Never felt so calm before... thank you andrew huberman..❤😊
Please make more meditative videos like this Andrew, it is extremely effective! Thank you 🙏
Ive used your nsdr video countless times to help reset my turbulent mind or to finally fall asleep. From the bottom of my heart and I mean that. THANK YOU.

That was actually very good! Although my boss saw me in my office and I said, what? I'm going to be 10x's more productive after this 20 min awakened nap! Lol. Yes, Doc Huberman's got many gifts including that voice! God continue to bless him!

After the 10 minute version I regularly listen to ,I´ve been hoping for a 20-Minute version of Huberman-NSDR, thank you so much! :)
That's awesome , I will add to my sleep playlist . I already have the ten minute one. Actually there are times when I wind down to watch something before going to bed , I listen to the ten min video to relax from the day .
Thank you so much for this 20 minute option! Definitely incorporating this into my feel good habits routine. I so appreciate everything you do for the world. Thank you Andrew Huberman for existing & making existence more understandable through science.
Thank you sir ❤ you really listen to your subscribers 😊

¡Hola Profe!Really grateful for a longer version. Thank You for improving quality of our lives week by week for the past three years
Considering am a huge fan of this man , I hope you post a lot of content like this in the near and far future ❤
Thank you Huberman!
I really needed this today. Thank you so much!
I almost cry at the end. Thank You so much Sir ❤
This was Wonderful. Much Needed. Thank You, Dr. Huberman! Bless you & Yours actually...it's Very similar to a class i used to teach back in the early 90's, right after our Tang So Do Karate class. Very similar. ...i taught others how to do what i had always done since..well..as far back as i can remember..cos..childhood was not what it should have been & i had to adapt to survive. Getting in touch with every aspect of my body & mind helped me Master Control of this body & mind..and when our Teacher noticed my level of control..he asked me how i did it. Long story short, he asked if i would be willing to teach a class on it..the rest is history. Until everything changed when hubbs died. i shut down. forgot the class..forgot everything..had no 'support' group cos..death makes people uncomfortable & they avoid discomfort like the plague. Right or wrong, not my call to make, it simply is what it is. Now, many years later..i woke up this morning & realized apparently i'm gonna have to live anyway..so..might as well get on with it.. & here i am. Compiling a few external HDs of Health & Wellness videos, Zazen, meditation, brushing up on the newest Medical & Tech, & all kinds of interesting DIY...even gonna try new recipes......got 4 ext.HD's full now, to begin using today..by playing them on my large screen TV, interacting, or following along, as i move around. Your video is leading the pack...#1. Starting point.
Thankyou , This was beautiful. 💫⭐️✨️
Thank you so much!!! That was awesome and very much needed 🙏
Perfect for the afternoon breaks. For me 20 minutes of NSDR is equivalent of 2h sleep!
Oh yeah, that was so needed. Thank you very much
Thank you 💆🏾 blessings 💌
Huberman...what a beautiful, relaxing voice. It suits your stunning looks also.
Thankyou so needed to listen to this NSDR. 🙏

Thank you Dr. Huberman for your 20minutes recording. This one is very powerful for someone who can easily wake up during the night and having hard time to fall asleep. I use it on next morning to restore.
Finally......... Thank you.
I just tried this for the first time, Thank you so much for introducing me to so many healthy protocols
YES FINALLLLLYYY BEEN WAITIING THIS FOR A LONG TIME❤
Thank you ~ I love this practice. I learned of NSDR from listening to Huberman Lab podcast.
Love this I have been wanting tot ry it since the day you posted (with seem to have been only day but it felt longer). I am constantly bombarded with information and ticks and all type of feelings going everywhere, this sometimes helps me end up in a better place, but most of the time it feels like im being attacked by everything. I am gratefull for my experience but its honestly so agonizing at times
I love starting my day with this 🎉
Crazy how this always works 💪🏿 . Thank you sir 🫡
Thank you!
Soothing voice, good tempo, very relaxing for both mind and body. 🙏🏻
Thank you so much for this. I liked the 10 minute version so much id frequently use a slowed down version of it just to have it last longer. This couldnt have come at a better time!
Thank you ❤
❤❤❤❤yes Thankyou !

Thank you for this Dr Huberman! Lovely protocol. Following on from your "Sleep" series with Matt Walker I have tried a "NDSR-a-chino" (shot of espresso with some organic chaga mushroom powder!) and am now going to work out!
Non-Sleep Deep Rest - "Yoga Nidra" in Yoga It's precisely the same. Check for it if you feel it's hyped.
You saved me from my brain tonight. Thanks

This was my first time. It was really good! Though I must say too many instructions. But thanks

Are you still sleeping?
Dr huberman, please make a 30 minute nsdr video
amo que la distancia que tenemos que hundirnos esté en centímetros. Gracias!
Wishing you all serene dreams! Allow the worries of the day to fade into the night... 😴💤
Getting better and better! What about the attention wandering? How should we handle that, or let it wander? Does that lessen the impact of the NSDR?
How does this relaxation differ from earlier versions of progressive muscle relaxation?
just woke up from a terrible tormented sleep, barely hit 4 hours, tried this as my first thing in the morning and let me tell u something, at the end, I politely reversed the thank you he said like on an uno game. Guy gave me like 4 extra hours of sleep in 20 minutes and still says thanks to us? simply amazing! my chronic problems are running like pussies since I discovered this channel ❤
I was the 1000th like ❤
With all due respect prof, I feel like I should be taking notes during this video. I associate your voice with copious notes and learning 😅
Thank you for this. Can you add your scripts to Spotify to?
I love you ❤
I thought a 20-min version would be better, but I like the 10-min one more.
Is NSDR more beneficial than getting 20 mins of nap?

Can you explain why you are exhaling through the mouth instead of the nose...and how that relaxes the nervous system?

Am I the only one wishing this thing to last forever?
I felt nauseous breathing in through my nose and out through pursed lips. I have the same problem doing the kind of breathing where you breathe in to a count of 5, hold your breath to a count of 5, exhale to a count of 5 and hold to a count of 5. The longer it goes on, the more nauseous I feel. I have a lung problem and a problem with gas exchange in my lungs (hypersensitivity pneumonitis), could that be causing me to feel nauseous and do I have to limit this kind of breathing?
I'm adding some delta brainwaves. Yummy
💕
Use transcendental meditation…. 2 20minute sessions a day chanting one particular word in your mind…..done
It‘s great that it’s longer. But I did hope for a longer body awareness scan, not longer science explanation. It’s not what you want to hear in the middle of the night when you can’t sleep.
Like this to pass ur life with happiness❤❤😂
This is great but far too short
Yognidra
How is this different from guided meditation? It seems similar

NSDR is about focusing perception on different body sensations in order to facilitate deep relaxation in the body then mind. The focus of regular meditation is to increase awareness of the mind. So trying to anchor awareness to the breath but each you notice the mind wander, simply notice where your thoughts went and the emotional consequence of the thoughts, then shift awareness back to the breath as you let those thoughts pass by without judgement. So more based on awareness of your own thoughts and emotions vs facilitating relaxation by shifting perception in the body. Hope that helps!
