I am Justbeinghayden from West Midlands, UK.
I build & modify cars, I don't really specialise in any manufacture of car, neither am I professionally trained - just a regular guy winging it as I go along restoring each car with my own personal touch (even if that means getting the angle grinder out!).
I hope my content brings a smile to your face and maybe inspires you to get on the tools yourself.
I do this as a hobby but would love to make this my full-time job, I'm here for a good time & never take things too seriously so enjoy!!
100K here we come :)

Good video, good info £10k
What does it take so long for you to do content?? I follow you because you say I'll do x amount of videos and I I like your videos but it's ages before you do anything 🥱🥱🥱 you have 2 cars on the go........and no go?
Because I have a full time job with 3 shifts mate so I struggle and I haven’t got unlimited money mate I wish I could 🙌🫡
@@JustbeingHayden ah fair enough, like your content, could you try for one video a week? Even if its detailing the inside of either car...all adds to resale value 🤷. More videos-more subscribers-less shifts-mor happiness and a Matt Armstrong lifestyle 😂
@MultiDanny1221 that’s the dream bro 🙌🙌🙌
Keep it up mate, love the vid
Thanks, will do!
You’re killing the turbo in the long run….
He ain’t got it no more 😂
It's worth £8k if that. Written off cars can be harder and more expensive to insure and as it has already been written off, should it ever be written off again, the payout will be less. This is from experience.
autotrader values the car at 10k straight, strugle to get 8k for it
Good Luck with the sale, The Audi S1 is a very difficult car to sell, I reduced mine to 9k in the end, and still no interest, mine was a category N. I currently have it up in a raffle and hopefully, I will be able to give it away to someone. I bought my one 2 years ago and the prices were a lot higher then. I Paid 7k before fees and delivery, and in the end, it cost me 13k to get it back on the road, I suppose where you are lucky, you bought yours at a reasonable price. Plus the colour is a massive factor, mine is Red and doesn't appeal to everyone but I think you might have more luck. I will be very surprised if you get 10k but if you do then you can sell mine Lol
Makes me happy, you did it in front of the curb reminds me of the good days in the states. Now in Sweden and to do stuff likes this is a no no lolll GOOD SHITT !!!
Thanks so much 🫡🫡🫡
I would buy a categorised car if I was to keep it for a long time. If I wanted a car for say 3-4 years so I got my moneys worth out of it so wasn’t worried about trying to resale it to get money back. If it’s been repaired to a high standard and if there’s documentation of the repair like pictures or videos then I think it’s a great way for someone to get into a car they wouldn’t be able to afford if not crash damaged. Another thing is I like to fix cars so they f I bought something with full service history and in perfect condition then I’d need to keep that going so doing a service like oil change etc or changing brake pads etc you need to take it to garage to keep service record up to date were as I feel with a crash damage car things like that wouldn’t matter has much…

My current car is damage repaired still worth a decent amount. I'd happily get another cat car.
You pay less witch is a benefit 🫡
Well done and thanks
Hope it helped 🫡
£9995 🎉

Say between £10k / £12k 👌🏻😎
10 I reckon buddy
I went to a dealer was looking at a car £18000 I don't normally do a car check but everyone goes on about car vertical and I got a offer 6 car checks £100 normally about £25 to £30 each . Car was a cat n dealer never declared it he called me I told him he hung up .. Same car on a cat n was £14000 but wrong colour for .
Normally 20% less than a straight car buddy
Hope you get it sold and make a little bit on it man! Been a great journey watching it.
Thanks mate
I've bought a few cars from copart and made a decent profit on them apart from one which was a 2015 Ford Kuga cat n which should of easily been a cat s, started taking the front bumper off and the chassis rails were badly bent, could not tell from the pictures before buying, where as at the moment i am repairing a 2017 Ford Focus ST3 cat s which should be a cat n as the only damage to the car was slight bumper and bonnet damage had not even damaged the crash bar. You have done a top job on the Audi, will look amazing when painted so i think you could get £9995 to £10995. Have you watched Reviving Salvage on you tube, he has repaired a very nice 2015 Audi S1 but has been trying to sell his for over a year but i think it is his location that has caused lack of interest so he has put it up for Raffle which is another option you could use to sell your Audi. All the best and good luck.
Thank you so much mate 🙏🙏🙏
I'd probably say that ain't worth buying. Hayden, Do you do any car tool reviews? We'd like to collab with you on our new product.
Drop me a message on instagram and we can have a chat 🙌 thank you
@@JustbeingHayden I did it, Hope hear from you soon
I'd say in-between 10-11k. Few grand profit, if you could do 1 car per month you'd certainly be in the money to quit your job and do this full time. 👌
That’s the dream 🙏🙏🙏🙏
800-1200 mates rates? You got bummed😫
You think nah man he’s looked after me their 🫡
@@JustbeingHayden I hate to think what he’d have charged you if it wasn’t mates rates, I’m telling you as someone who’s been in the industry for years doing this same thing, you got bummed
Still using a midget as your camera man i see .
I've never had a crash damaged car mate but you've literally made a full playlist of videos of everything that you have done to the car and have video evidence you've done a propper job, that definitely adds value for sure. honestly id list this between 12k and 13k if a tire kicker comes you've left yourself plenty to shave off the top and have still made a decent profit.
Cheers not called Keith 🙏🙏🙏🙏
10k all day long when finished you won’t have it for sale very long
Hopefully 🤞
Yes hade, hope you're all good bro...hey, have been watching 👀, this for time now 😂😂...your doin a top job, on this pocket 🚀....yeah its well worth it....its12k to 15k...(mint)....keep doin what u do....massive respect 🙏
I wish it was mate straight ones going for 12/15k mate so we’ll be no where near 🫡🫡🫡
Good video 👌 id probably say 10-11k
Be over the moon with 10 🙏
10k is a brilliant price ..a dealer would still put this up for 15k plus ....get in touch with calvin or his brother see what there thoughts are 💪
If it’s got a cat S marker it ain’t selling for that 😂😂
I reckon 8/9 see what happens 🫡
@@JustbeingHayden may as well start off high and make your way down if no interest. Good work though mate excited to see what comes next on the channel!
Ya need to realise once ya get a sponsor, you'll be laughing. Should do a few ride alongside with modded cars again. Bit like Adam Smith. Keep it up
Cheers man I totally get it but I wana do stuff I wana do not just to try fill gaps and get views 🙏🙏🙏
The other thing I would say is don't be afraid to take a loss. I have been doing copart cars for a year now, nowhere near your value, mostly 1-3k stuff, some I have made a grand on, some I have lost 500 on but the ones I have lost on, I have learnt something from. I have taught myself to spray, weld, repair etc so that 500 loss has been worth it to teach myself how to spray using a compressor for instance. All car dealers take a loss every now and then, just keep churning man
🙌🙌🙌 absolutely man
Love this comment!
Can’t buy knowledge and experience 🙌
Damage is usually 25-30% reduction. I think 10k is fair to be homest
Hope so buddy 🫡
Yes bro
Yeah boiiii
Enjoyed the video, a dad's prospect and experience sometimes helps bring a new dynamic to the video and the issue at hand. Team work and a brew, can't beat it! Sound's like dad was the star of this video 😂 😊
Thank you 🙏 I’ll try get him on more 🫡
👍👍👍👍😁

love the father and son duo man, its class, watching you both discuss what's going on and the thought process is awesome, wicked man!
Thanks so much 🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡
That was a good video. Your dad definitely made it better. Maybe include your dad from now on. He’s a natural
I’ve told him KZread is waiting for him 😂
@@JustbeingHayden oh cool
Your best video to date with great progress. Bringing your Dad to the show is top class with his old school know how and logical approach let alone his humour 😂. Definitely best with you guys as a duo, keep up the great videos guys😁👏
Keep your dad on the videos mate hes a natural on camera and explaines things easy and quicker, and you keep the tea coming 😂 all jokes aside learn how your dad goes with the flow and remember that you dont have to justify the negative comments forget them and just do what your doing 🙌
Cheers digger 🫡🫡🫡
The temp gauge definitely won't work without coolant in the system.
Thanks bro
You're going to find that you're going to need to adjust the bodywork. The gap between the bonnet and the passenger side wing is big enough to fit a bus down it. Also rather than using self tappers, use riv nuts.
Bonnet don’t move bro it’s fixed no elongated holes 🕳️ 🫡🫡🫡🫡
@@JustbeingHayden then something is out of alignment as the gap on the passenger side wing is miles out compared to the driver's side. Even Stevie Wonder can see that.
Your old mans oldschool mate. Legend. U can learn a lot from him, natural to the camera lol fair play
Yeah bro that’s us no acting what you see here is what you see in real life 🫡🕺
after installed , can we put back all oem cover look like original? thx
Your dad's a legend fair play
Yes Craig he is ❤️🙌🙌🙌
Good video mate, seeing you drill a couple of holes and putting a couple of self tappers in, well done on the progress 👍
Feel like this is sarcasm 🥲 I’m getting there step by step wish I could get it done in one video hopefully on the next motor I’ll be able to whizz through it differently thanks for watching tho
can't beat a good cupa tea ;)
💪💪💪💪
Your old man is gold pal 🥇
Cheers 🕺🕺🕺
With all the smoke it it down to it not being started for a while, if the smoking persistent when youve bled the system then do a oil change if the oil looks like a vanilla milkshake the headgasket it gone bare in mind you started the car without any coolant in it at all so it’s a fair chance that you could’ve caused damage. Love the vids bro
🙏🙏🙏
Problem with this type of car and its value is the £60 a month tax.. bit too much for that type for a daily driver and not special enough to be a collector where you only tax it a couple months of year. Im actively put off by £710 a year tax cars
You know what I didn’t even check how much it is to tax 😂
your dad seems like a propa legend!
Yeah he’s golden
Bro your dad's a natural on camera. Definitely need to see him in the videos more often 👍
The blue smoke might just be shitty fuel mate
Blue smoke is not fuel related, that's oil
