You should definitely use penetrating fluid/wd40 for all the bolts you need to undo. Helps tremendously and makes it less likely for bolts to snap

Invest in a blowtorch to go with your tools your buying. You will be amazed what a bit of heat will do when removing bolts etc!

Sadly it looks like that subframe have had a right smack and is out of shape. Bet the previous owner had said "WATCH THIS!" prior to their crash.
