I too am watching the history of people going through The Covid Epidemic! I was in CA caring for my husband who was in late stage Alzheimer’s! It was all very scary and as I play the cello I practiced a lot! My husband and I had food ordered and delivered and I luckily had help three day a week but it was a very stressful time for everyone! I loved hearing the people sing in NYC and Italy and since I had been in the health field for 28 years, my heart went out to the staff caring for people who were dying with Covid! So your diaries, Nicki are appreciated for how we all survived that terrible time in our lives! I am now back home in Maine living on the coast , playing the cello and painting! Rich made it to 90 and is waiting for me in Heaven.🥰 You are a remarkable lady Niki! You two make a wonderful couple with all your interests and projects and enthusiasm for life! You are inspiring to us all and I so appreciate your efforts to show us how you approach problems and keep reaching out to the world. Thank goodness we have people like you to guide and help us through tough times,Niki and Carlo! Bravissimo!!👏❤️🥰❤️👏🥰❤️

I love how you can buy nice things at second hand shops and that there are small businesses to buy lamp shades, get things upholstered etc. All of those types have been pushed out where I live in Texas. Most people seem to want cheaply made new furniture and big box stores.

Watching you as we usually do weekly I can’t help but notice the resemblance in your present adventures as is ours. We too just bought a new house around the same time as you both did and are happily enjoying the weekly visits to flea markets,antique and thrift stores to find that special piece or something that would fit in our home and we must get. We’re also hauling in all kinds of plants and flowers and watching the joy in our 2 cats faces as they are so much happier here( bit more space). You’re both very talented and should be proud in your achievements. Now back to more of our I mean your adventures 😊
