Madeira is part of Portugal but is an island out in the Atlantic. It is gorgeous as are the Azores, also out in the Atlantic.

Skye and Nikola are such a cute couple. I thank them for showing me Portugal. I did not realize it had such beautiful mountainous areas. Carlos and Elizebeth’s family have such a wonderful relationship. Carlo is like a loving uncle to the girls. As always Nicki, your Dad is a treasure. Beautiful people in beautiful places. Madeira is a separate Portuguese island. I went on the basket sled ride downhill many years ago-the woman who lived there had arthritis and that was the best way to get her down from her house!

Hi All, super content yet again. Lovely seeing Elizabeth,husband and girls. Skye and Nikola showed us some wonderful walks and even looked like the Grand Canyon at sunset. They got a marvellous welcome home from Holly and Skye. Nicki’s Dad looked well and that was a great job getting all the pans, China, cutlery and two chairs for Tuscany. Bet you wish it was January😂.🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Thank you so very much for the memories of Naples! I lived there for over a year when my husband was in the military. When the ship went out a few of my friends and i went everywhere we could. I had to Volkswagen Bug and I shopped on the Italian markets, we used our rations of cigarettes, booze and gasoline to trade for furniture, household goods and clothes. I was a newlywed in Italy! He was home more than out and it was glorious!! He’s passed away now, but the video brought tears and joy and I thank you… I’m now 70 in a wheelchair. I’ve always wanted to go back… but I can’t live alone and travel would be dangerous. I’m saving this video..

Everything was refreshingly new and interesting. Skye's hikes, Carlo's adventure, and Nickie's homewares scavaging--all of it made me smile for different reasons. Thank you for taking me along, lovely people. Have a beautiful week.

Love, love, love your new intro!!! Skye is a reflection of her mother’s beauty and talents… exploring and stepping us through her adventures with such confidence in her voice. Watching Nicki with her father was heartwarming as well as seeing Nicki’s hand painted chairs. The outpouring of support for the handmade soap gifts and neatly helping to wrap them up to ship… and the support for every euro to the disabled made my eyes water for the spirit of giving back to a great cause. Thank you for kicking off December with collaborated efforts from your beautiful family and friends. ❤❤❤❤❤

Parents stay in our heart forever...My mother died two years ago on the first day of the year and my father died 13 years ago on the 3rd of January...the festive period will be always a painful souvenir for me. I understand you ❤❤❤❤

I am very sorry for the loss of tour father. I lost my mum two years ago and I know having regrets is a normal part of the grieving process . I once got some previous advice. ' don't concentrate on the regrets you have but in the things you were proud of. The nice things you did for your parents. The moments of joy you brought them, even in what seemed to you like little thing?.' While it might also be' nevessary to process the regrets to heal try to bring in a good measure of pisitivities.

I am so sorry for your loss. I believe that your father would not want you to feel regret. Think good thoughts and revel in the joy of the life he had with you. My Mother has cancer and this will probably be her last Xmas with us, so I understand how you feel. I try to make the most of it even though it's very bittersweet ❤. Sending you lots of positive and happy vibes.

So lovely to see Skye. Totally understand it’s not her jam to be on camera but I feel like she has a bunch of aunties and uncles who really love to see her out and about and enjoying her life :)

Hi Nicki, this is Marikka from Finland living in Germany, I just saw the brown plates and bowls you got from your father - did you know that they come originally from Finland? It ist called Ruska designed by Arabia. "Arabia Ruska (autumn colours in Finnish) was designed in the 1960's, it was the first of the S-model series made in glazed stoneware. It was also the longest in production, and was made until the year 2000." "Ruska became one of the best selling lines in the history of Arabia Finland. It was specally designed as "oven to table" ware, each piece is oven- and microwave proof." Even nowadays people love this stoneware and try to buy it second hand, they are timeless and will last forever. I just love the fact that you have those!

This video is epic! You’re becoming an entire family of videographers! Carlo, the drone footage of Procida is gorgeous and Skye, your footage from Madeira is incredible-I actually gasped out loud at one point as you emerged from a cave onto a beautiful, misty vista. I’m not sure who edited this one, but the job is masterful and flowed beautifully from segment to segment. Brava e bravo! Nicki, I’m glad you had a nice visit with your dad and were able to see your brother. How fortunate for your family that your dad held on to so much stuff! I loved the set of dishes and I think they will be lovely in your Tuscan home. My soap order arrived this week and is so lovely. I’m so thankful I was able to order in time. Carlo, You told me about a year ago that you travel when the notion strikes you and it really hit home with me and I want to thank you. I am getting ready to take my first trip and I am going solo because my husband works 7 days a week and I have not had a real vacation since I was 25 and I am turning 57 on December 20th. I am taking my dog in my campervan and am going to go where the wind takes me! You are speaking English more I noticed. Good job! I hope you and your lovely family have a wonderful Holiday season!!!
