I still dont understand why are filipinos still watching korean tv dramas? Or listening to korean pop? And why in philippines promoting these tv shows or music in philippines? Sorry but if koreans are racist then boycott their tv shows and music and stop sending filipinos in korea. Not hating on koreans or filipinos but If koreans thinks filipinos are just good for being a domestic helper or not pretty enough or good looking then why still trying to go to korea to be famous? You can be famous in any other country than korea? Or in philippines again not trying to hate or argue on this but trying to understand why

It would be better if the fire is nip at the bud. No group of students of any other religion require to construct place of worship in foreign land to pray. Religion is personal. When God is omnipresent you can practice it anywhere, even in the silence of your heart.

I could imagine these young women are used to American life no means no . Don’t assume other countries are safe for women in the same ways. Being drunk alone very unsafe for women anywhere truly. Women were taught not to put themselves in vulnerable positions. We need to be thinking protectively of ourselves. Not putting ourselves in vulnerable positions with men . It used to be taught for a reason . I don’t think the world will ever be 100 percent safe for women and we should see it that way if we don’t want to become a victim like this. No it isn’t right but also stupid to believe everyone will not succumb to dangerous situations. Something women aren’t being taught enough anymore. Be safe. Sharing is caring for other women as well. Thank you for being brave to warn others.

Let's be honest. These people would have zero to no career in their respective home countries and were using their foreigness to get mediocre jobs in East Asia based on their looks. The only reason they hire them is because they don't look East Asian and that is their only qualification. Because there are many fluent English speaking East Asians who can fill the same role. If they don't want to do a certain role then they'll find someone who does. What's so difficult to understand when there's a myriad of other foreigners in East Asia looking for the same gigs.

I had a foreigner friend who studies in Korea was assaulted and she made a complain in police station cops were mocking at her for being Muslims and accused her for this and that. I felt so bad hearing her story. She said Koreans are so racist in general 😢

I'd say, aside from knowing of any bad symptoms that at least she's not "unattractive," --- and she was in the traditional sense --- that she's been fortunate. Other than that I'd advise her, not to have children.

It's unbelievable what an insanely sick country/countries North Korea is in this way and South Korea in so many other ways. The only positive thing I've heard from South Korea is that they seem to know and offer the best beauty/looking younger treatments, but with the new information, it seems once again women there as well as in other Asian countries are "forced" to look beautiful and young for a long time to be worth something in society! I've always wondered why South Korea doesn't do more to help North Korea, but they are just too busy with their own grievances.

It would be very interesting to analyze comparison between the historical development of legal standards for actors in one country vs the standards and norms versus South Korea. I believe that the source of every abuse & exploitation is hubris and the lack of will/ effort to confirm support or honor a standard - one supposed value is placed higher than another.

Im an American, and i pride myself on my observation skills, its kept my feet on good paths, avoided situations, PEOPLE that weren't or could have been bad for me,and so with that ill say this.....ASIAN COUNTRIES MAY NOT BE PHYSICALLY VIOLENT AS WE AMERICANS ARE PRONE TO,( yes we are more prone to physical confrontations then asians ),,,BUT ASIAN COUNTRIES,,,,,ITS PEOPLE ......DO NOT HAVE GOOD ETHICS AND MORALS......THEY WILL/DO FCUK PEOPLE OVER WITHOUT VIOLENCE.........do all countries have this type of " low character " people,of course and obviously,,,,but Asian countries,,,,im not talking JUNGLE ASIANS,,,no,,,,im talking about CITY ASIANS ,,,,so many of them, all ages, men and woman have no issue with doing shady, low, dishonest, and worse acts against others,,its like nothing to them..,,,

Not just Korea but many countries have had ethical problems compared to ones that had Christianity for over a thousand years. Which could be Ethiopia or it could be jordan. This is one reason why most countries used to happily accept Christian missionaries. Because there are so many problems before them.

Really relevant and powerful to see this, especially in light of the fact that I'm not sure it's only Korea that this problem exists, but recently Noa Turushima it was reported on another youtube channel was denied an Intimacy Coordinator by the director of a recent film she is in. There seems an idea that people are just objects, devoid of feelings, devoid of souls, of compassion, of rights even, to be moved by the societal machinery wherever and however it sees fit. I think this is a highly relevant subject to bring to mass world conscious awareness, because if it isn't how do we grow as a world community and expand? It touches on so many levels the fabric of what it means to be a human being, a living being, and its basis it is a question of our inherent value, how much do we value ourselves versus the system, in other words it speaks to the human being's inherent worthiness---intensely relevant, intensely powerful, and insightful. Thank you.
