How can Korea become more migrant-friendly?
Japan has the world's oldest population. Australia is one of the most diverse immigrant countries. Korea has the world's lowest fertility rate, with women giving birth to less than one baby on average.
The government is preparing measures to attract more migrants to fill Korea's workforce, but it needs to work on building a more inclusive society at the same time. What can Korea do to help migrants become better integrated into society?

I think Korea need to become more people friendly, not so much migrant friendly.. the crazy long working hours and insane pressure to perform is one of the biggest problems

Excellent point, and this is precisely why the birthrate is so low... which is what promotes the idea of bringing more folk in.
The question is why do they have to be? Why is there an obsession with this elsewhere? Why should rich countries cause brain drains in poorer ones? It doesn't benefit the poorer ones. Then there are the language issues. I don't speak Korean and likely by my age, I would never pick it up fluently. So it would be a bad idea for someone like me to become a surgeon or a repairman there and create chaos by misunderstanding an instruction.

the video explains this--the society is aging and needs more younger people.
This is a very interesting video! Thank you very much :)!
I think people have become so used to the idea that English is a global language. First of all that's not true! Yes English is spoken in many countries who were colonised by Britain and USA example Phillipines, South East Asia (excluding Thailand) India, etc but there are also somany countries who were never colonised by Anglo Saxon countries example Japan, Korea, Russia, Kazakhstan, etc. Local people should not feel uncomfortable interacting in foreign language and culture they don't consume or are familiar with. My best advice learn the local language and adapt to the local culture. Rename into Korean names or Japanese depending on where you wanna live
Reform the immigration laws, provide path to citizenship, don’t force long-term expats to prove that they’re “valuable” enough every year just so they’re able to extend their F2. Nobody wants to live in a country where the visa systems makes their future feel uncertain and full of anxiety, especially given that there are many other developed countries (like Japan) with much more contemporary and sophisticated visa laws.
If I try to live in Korea or any other countries I would learn their language and customs. I won't force them to adapt to my needs I will adapt to them. That way people won't be so reluctant of immigrants.
O my God. Protect Korea.

from foreign, alien invaders who have tried invading our land for thousands of years
It's not migrant-friendly country. Korea is the 3rd population country per square km. Korea is Over-populated country by the size.
As a japanese, I feel neutral or positive about korean migrant to japan since there is similarity in dna, culture and language. but chinese migrant to japan is a different story. As I hear chinese speaking in japan, the pronunciation is loud, and they are trying to take over japan. it’s really annoying as hell
😎I travel around the world full time and will visit Korea soon.

Foreign Nationals r far more Happy nd accepted in White English nations like US UK and Australia as compared to East Asia specially Korea And Japan ...Ist English being a Global language nd White nations are less racist and judgemental to people of color as compare to Korea ...ND the culture of These White nations is far more free than restricted...so Definitely a Foreign national would prefer to settle in US Uk Australia Than in Korea nd Japan..

Please don't become more migrant-friendly! It will ruin your country! Just look what has happened to other migrant-friendly countries: they are not safe anymore like it is in Korea. Instead, focus public policy on making housing more affordable and education less stressful and competitive. Then the population in Korea will grow because if you fix those things, more Korean people will get married and have children.
