I’m an average guy, with an average knowledge base. Basically, I’m just like you. I’m not an expert, but I give a good representation of what an average person can expect when doing a project. If I can do it, you can do it. My videos are DIY projects and occasionally I do non biased, honest product reviews. In the paraphrased words of Abraham Lincoln, “I’m not gonna lie to ya!”

I recommend that you do not remove the radiator cap before you begin to drain. This way, it will drain much slower until you are sure you have yourself out of the way of spilling liquid and the drain pan in place. Then, remove the radiator cap. Use this method on any vehicle. You’re welcome! lol
Did this job yesterday on a '03 Ram 1500 2WD Automatic. Everything shown in this video was dead-on. I even decided to use the 5/8" socket rather than a 16mm as it was a tighter fit to the mounting bolts. I used a universal joint with the socket/ratchet, but I really didn't need to. I was able to use my 1/2" torque wrench to torque the mounting bolts to 50 ft-lb (as specified in the service manual) without using an extension for either bolt. The toughest thing for me was getting the electrical connector fully seated on the new starter (AutoZone Duralast) as the connector didn't want to insert far enough to "latch" the retaining clip. I eventually got it to hold.
Forgot to mention that the truck had the 4.7L V8
Jeff this instruction vedieo is great. I and my wife did the replacement within 2.456 hours, hehehee. But it now works. You saved us a lot of money by not hiring a mechanic. We will be watching out for more of your video's.
It would have been nice to know to take note of the placement of the elements at the beginning and not at the rushed through replacement.
Why does mine not work? They said add fluid but fluid is coming out of it when I open the fill hole
If that was the problem, your brake lights would stay on all the time, even when car shut off, resulting in dead battery if you don't spot it.
En español por favor
Thank you for your teaching! But we follow the video and change to the brand new heating stuff, and we put the door and follow all the instruction, but when we turn on the power it turn off by itself like in 5 seconds, do you know the why it turn off the power?
Thank you. Your video helped my dyi fix👍
Great job Thank you
Great video thank you, just have one question i have CRV gen 2 jiw to rich to that brake pin space,do i have to remove the plastic under the steering wheel? thank you in advance
2002, just wiggle the drain plug out.
Wow It happened to me as well right after leaving the shop! The sound disappeared for a couple of days but now it's back. I am going to call the shop to get it sorted, as they were working on the brakes.
THE GROOVES ARE FOR BALANCING,🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
Thanks man. Your video is so helpful.
I just hit my actuator pretty hard with a wrench and it started working again sometimes they just get stuck hope this helps somone. Now my ac blows through my vents
It might sound crazy but I used Easy Off oven cleaner to remove the leftover glue. Spray it on.. Wait about 90-120 seconds and start scraping using a plastic scraper. Have the garden hose rinsing as you scrap to dilute the oven cleaner. Glue came off like butter with no damage..
Did some brake work myself new pads / new rotors now I’m hearing grinding sound passenger side only
you did not mention the recline lever removal or the airbag connect going up in to the seat back. Was that a difficult thing?
This is probably one of the funniest fixes I've seen. I'm going to try it..
Thank you
Crap. Buy ShadowFoam
Thanks, Jeff. But can't doing that with a flathead screwdriver mess up the rotor?
Thanks Jeff
Can I send you my starter? It sometimes doesn't work. (2001 chevy express van.) I was told something about "dead" spots in it?
I'm trying to plug the wiring clip back in, it's so Stubborn. 😢
Alright boys, new test, how long does a low profile long reach daytona jack last without ever being greese (i dont have a greese gun and i dont feel like buying one just for the jack)
So say rebuild the brushes you didn't replace just copper coated parts y not
Absolutely Excellent Work Good Sir.
Hehe I was able to get mine out and the new one in somehow without even holding the tensioner out of the way. 😂
Nice work. Difficult on this type. Looks to me.
After struggling (a lot) to change my wheel hub this happened and I thought I really messed up. Thank you Jeff for a quick fix that truly saved my mental health lol.
Thanks, you saved me a lot of time. 👍
How you install the upgrade kit and wich sensor to use
Perfect.
Jeff !! That was AWESOME 💯😎 QUICK AND IT WORKED !
I’m gonna try this today
Thank you sir for your video guide! Even though, you miss those 3 screws part which had me struggling for like 10 mins then I realized that were screws holding them back lol. I should had read the comments earlier 😅
what i learned from this video is to just buy a new starter
No need to disconnect battery?
One thing I will add is to remove the cover over the squirrel cage and clean that area and the cage thoroughly.
Am I going to have to use a clamp to compress the caliper so im able to take it apart? or is a clamp not needed
Thanks Jeff. What size of rubber hose needed please? let me know. Thanks again.
Good video but you feel AI generated
Dude looks like a cereal killer
I'm going to try this! Thank you. My light doesn't come on though is the only difference. Hmmm
There’s an outside chance your cruise control light is burned out.
A penney did not work for me, I had to spend 4 more cents and use a nickel.
Wow, that repair cost you 5 times the advertiser price. 🤣
Great idea!
It worked perfect for me for 2 years until my transmission died and I got rid of it.
So I took my 2009 Honda Odyssey with 1888k miles to the dealership for an oil change and they recommended a Transmission flush. I was advised by 2-3 other mechanics that said flushing the transmission is a bad idea, because of the year and mileage on the vehicle to just keep topping it up with fluid. Is this true or should I just go with what the Honda dealership people said?
That’s a tough call. People go 50/50 on that decision.
Drain and fill every other oil change
i really dont understand how you explain the removal and reinstall so easy , so far i have taken out the glove box, under panels part of my center console (2000 honda accord coupe 2 dr. 2.3L) just to try and see where it all goes , ive only been able to remove the 3 screws and no further. i cant see deep enough under the dash area to unhook the metal rod on the old one to be able to attach tghe new acuator rod. this is rediculous. any advise please!
I can assure you, it wasn’t easy for me either. I had to do some by feel. Once I got it out it was easier to understand how it works because you can then see more with the actuator out.
