I have no idea who this guy is however it is obvious he know his stuff. Just a hunch. I'm not even going to check him out on google. I believe this is an excellent review. The bike is powerful make no error. I get the impression it is the lightness in weight that is a key feature of this great bike. I rode both 2 and 4 stroke enduro/trail motorbikes over here in New Zealand during the '80s when I was in my 20s. And compared to today's bikes I believe bikes of today are much lighter in weight that is an excellent feature. I found the suspension most interesting especially the point about the aggressive nature/characteristics of the bike overall and yet the shocks do not reflect that and are therefore a weakness. That is not good for such a high end brand of motorcycle like Husqvarna and it should know better. The forks are simply too soft for this motorcycle. If an experienced rider was to purchase this bike, I believe they would be disappointed with the amount of effort required to control the bike during aggressive riding because of the weaker/softer suspension and that for me is a definite point to consider if wanting to buy it. These bikes command an expensive price tag and I wonder for the same amount of money if a different brand/bike would be a better option - especially considering suspension performance that is a crucial element to consider. Mike Lindsay even recommends if buying the bike to upgrade the suspension as the first port of call. Well...for me that money could be spent on a different brand/bike that has better suspension performance in the first instance. If you'd like to check out my 1981 Suzuki RM 465X motocross racer I owned please check it out here - the story to my final bike #10 is also worth reading: www.flickr.com/photos/35707376@N00/50855348636/in/album-72157713681398176/

Someone explain why can't they mass produce this shock and put it in a stock bike from the factory What's it made of gold or some precious metals Its all bullshit . It's all basic metals . When do we get this shock in 10 years bit late I'm 53 now .

What kind of conditions would you tune the trax to? Do the xact pro shocks have any different coatings to the stock shock?

Looks and sounds somuch better than today's racing. You can tell how each rider is doing making own lines and sounds. Not like 4strokes where it's a constant loud wetfart noise wear ruts get dug so quick because only couple fast lines they can take which then turns it to boring single line track with hardly anywhere to pass. Bring back the 2bangas to top levels, or let 300cc 9r 500cc 2strokee race against 450s. That's what they did to make motocross more expensive. Banned 500cc class because to dangerous they reckon then put 450s and 250fs 8n 250 and 125 classes. Bullshit. Keep rippin 2bangas fella's. Avagud1

Good video, I like they make no religion or ideology out of the bladder/piston question. The rebound now seems to have the same adjusters (hi and low) as the comp always had. But it is far less important than for comp imho - but still nice to have. Interesting that the old TRAX System has disapeared, that was really special in function, but also reason for frequent maintainance. The new one is nothing similar and can (in contrast) be acchieved with shim change aka valving. But OK, now its external and the rider can tune on track.

I miss they days when bikes were only kick start. I think this trend of electric garbage and smart phone connection to control your traction control and launch assist and blah blah blah.. is going the wrong way. Wish the Japanese brands would have stayed carbed and kickers.

I’d love to see a shootout where every rider runs modified suspension and an aftermarket exhaust system on each bike. Or maybe a shootout where pro circuit does suspension and a pipe for each bike. That would level the playing field and show true bike potential much more because a lot of stock bike flaws can be hugely negated with some standard mods that most people do to their bike anyway.

I have a 2019 kx450 for my snowbike and I just got it to 40 hours and the stock clutch melted and just came out in pieces. A dead snowbike is VERY difficult to get out of the Backcountry so I'll just have to change my plate more often I guess. Ain't no KTM clutch.

I talked about when i started my first race an got a real mx bike off a vet pro guy...it was the best 2 stroke made the 1986 CR 250R the year of the production rule...so i didnt know it till later that it was an under cover Factory HRC bike the basically stock motor kept pitching me off because the smooth balance HRC crankshaft was so smooth i wasnt ready for a factory motor it takes top pro guys some time to get used to superfast an great handling suspension when u aint expecting it...that 86 2 stroke powerband was identical to that of a modern 450...if u could imagine...125 s are most fun when they are tweaked by gus like mitch...u get so much reward out of being aggressive it really fun an goes fast with out the weight...especially when its rough...im from the northeast where tracks are whooped out an get rough
