I came for the dirt bike information and I left realizing why you own a SX team. You definitely understand the business aspect to life. You two are an inspiration to us all. Look forward to seeing Jeff race SX!

Really enjoyed this. Cool hearing a person who actually has real knowledge of the industry sort of casually talk about what may, or may not happen. The amount of wild speculation, and people pretending to know what’s going on when they clearly have no clue is insane right now.

This mass hysteria is getting ridiculous, every couple of years they come up with some kind of pandemic, remember swine flu, avian bird flu, how about ebola, the list goes on.

@Ryan’s Rides 916 It looks like this one has much more potential to get a lot worse than those. More people die from it (maybe as high as 3%) and it's spreading a lot faster. It's still small though but it's growing so fast that it has huge potential. Sucks. I'm not stayin' home yet.

This is a great point and would cancel out any sx races. It may come down to a shortened season with Tomac, Sexton and Ferrandis as the 2020 SX Champions.

Many times before the FIM took over USA supercorss, Europe and Canada have tried to have a major and lasting SX series, and they all failed. But today is different. The FIM tracks suck, and somebody in Canada can put together a much better series. To me, there are only 2 tracks in USA SX today. The same track over and over for the FIM ruled races, and Daytona, (which is not FIM dictated, the only race that is not). Start a series with tracks that surpriise people all the time, and let 2-strokes race with 4-strokes of equal displacement,--and you can have a "hero" of a series IMO. The FIM---it needs some competition itself. :)

Both these guys are awesome. Love the content. Hope for more of this "show style" format.

There is No Way the cancelled rounds get rescheduled for the fall. ...if fans are able to go back into stadiums in the fall, all of the stadiums Supercross currently races in are going to be taken by Football and Baseball teams. The schedule just simply won’t work for that. This virus is so contagious it will be at least 3 months before health authorities can see what the outcome really is. I’m thinking Tomac is crowned the 2020 SX Champion without another race ran in 2020 and we may get a 6 to 9 race outdoor season . ...if we’re lucky.

Most likely, this virus in the USA will be dead in 2 months, (much like the flu every year), from what I understand.

Collaberative Idea: Use an outdoor Supercross "Studio" track in CA or FL for TV audience only. Give ticketholders NBC Sports Gold sx access. Hold the remaining races with intervals and change the track each time. The online viewing is awesome and NBC has advertising space to sell in the breaks as well. The show must go on!

The whole season got postponed today but let's be real it's going to be cancelled.

It sucks for us fans and dudes like eli and ken who are having a good year, but I’m sure that injured riders such as AC, Craig, Jett Lawrence, Brayton, JimmyD, Lamay, Blose, Nichols, etc. that are injured/coming off of an injury Just giving them more time to heal up and Miss the least amount of races possible.

The races from here out that would be cancelled are all in football stadiums. In the fall, the football stadiums will all be in use for football. Even if the team has an away game, the groundkeepers aren't going to want Feld to track in truckloads of plywood and dirt and mess up the turf.

Tv contracts and series sponsors pay in a major portion as well. Not running the events means Feld has to pay them back for each event cancelled.

@Michael Lindsay They cant suspend the season until the Fall that's the only time the Riders have off plus their contracts are up and they are just tired and it would be dangerous. So they need to either end it now or figure out a way to sneak a few Races in before the Outdoors start. I would just do the last two rounds of Double Headers with all 3 Classes. Have the 450 Class the 250 East and West Race Saturday and Sunday at least that would be 4 out of 7 Rounds. What Feld needs to realize is the Governor's cant legally shut the Races down. I am no Lawyer but I know our rights as a US Citizen and it is up to the Public if they want to gather in peaceful groups which is protected by the 1st Amendment of the Constitution of United States of America 1789 (rev. 1992) "the right of the people peaceably to assemble" They could fight it but they don't have the time to fight it in a Federal Court.

I wonder if Feld carries any sort of an insurance policy that would cover their loses during an "Act of God" event like this? If they do how would that effect rescheduling any future races. But if they try and push the rest of the season too far forward and you'll run into scheduling issues with the NFL.

Then again I don't think many could have forseen a pandemic that would cancel or cut short the season. I'm guessing they have some sort of coverage.

Detroit is cancelled.. NFL takes over the stadiums in the fall NFL isn't going to give up the stadiums for SX

They need to postpone outdoors to allow feld to reschedule the races before outdoors begins. That's the best way to keep everyone happy.

In my head I think the moto Industry is going to be bankrupt from all this all the big teamS sponsor pulling out.But at the end of the day rather be safe than sorry🇺🇸

Definitely think Jeff should wait on SX and focus on outdoors. Regarding the virus, I definitely think people are going a little too crazy. But i also agree with the decisions to close down large gatherings as a preventative measure. Sure, a handful of us will become ill for 2-3 days, but most of the population will be fine, and i'm suspecting the regular flu will be far worse.
