Michael Lindsay my question is not really related to your vid but it’s your most recent, just asking for some advice... I’m 15stone (210lbs 5.11/6ft, not fat!) 😂, pretty new, do I go 250 or 450? and good luck, I want to race this year, in my head I’m brilliant! But will put a lot of time in to improve, congrats and good luck with your team

@@TheDing11 New racer? 250. They have plenty of power to pull a 210 lb guy. Yea, you have to jump what the other racers are jumping, but as soon as your corner speed is better than theirs, you probably win. I think the 250 will force you to keep the gas wide open more, (it is amazing how many people race half throttle), where a 450 could be too much for you to practice that. Personally, me a bit heavier than you, if I were to race again, I would do it on a 250 2-stroke, (less expensive to buy, and maintain, and much easier to work on). You won't even have to win, and people will be watching you. :)

"Nice Pajamas" I see too many people wearing pajamas in the shopping stores today, (and they say "Thank you." when I tell them, "Nice pajamas."----jeeech!!). A productive society gets dressed for public. No excuses. :)

EarthSurferUSA thanks for the advice, I think your right it will be either a 250 4 stroke or smoker, I’ll just get the suspension set up correctly (correct rear spring for my weight) and away I go!

What the heck is up with the dislikes?? Maybe riders that were hoping to make the team, but didn't? Jeff Walker was a given. Chris Blose is pretty much a household name in the sport, so good for both of you. Jerry Robin is new to me, so one more name to follow, which makes the races more interesting. Justin Starling I'm familiar with since watching his Wife Swap years ago. Last but not least is COTY SHOCK. I'm most excited for this guy after getting turned on to his story maybe about a year ago. He seems like the nicest, most humble, and down to earth guy around .... and FAST. SOO glad to see some good support coming his way. If you are not familiar with his story, check out this series about his background and story. The series is called FOCUS, and it has six parts. Here is part number 1. If you like it you could continue with the others. kzread.info/dash/bejne/jKOburFxqszdhso.html

Congrats dude, the team riders sound solid and good oil, def a good coupe with CB as team captain using that to mentor is very smart and good for the younger guys clearly and for him, he’ll grow with that too. Stoked JW is not doing SX this season, he is a very smart young man and he’ll grow into that, I was worried he was jumping in too soon and we see potential future champs ruined in the first year who don’t have an SX background, Lawerence kids come to mind, be interesting to see how Jett goes, but Hunter did it tough last year and he had more experience than Jett) so for JW smart move to focus on Med school outdoors and take time to learn SX, don’t know much about the others the first young guy you talked about sounds good so looking fwd to following him and the whole team, instantly followed you and team on Insta, best of luck preparing and for the season, 2020 just got a heck of allot more interesting and exciting. 🤙🔥..

    4 жыл бұрын

Budget, rider size, and amount of factory bikes. In the 450 class, by about the half way mark of the series there's usually only around 8-10 factory entries in the class and we can build a bike that's competitive with it in that setting. 250s however, the budget required to be competitive outdoors is much larger than indoors...especially with J-Walk's size. Also, with the 250 teams being so large...there's around 21-24 factory bikes to deal with and by the half way mark there's still around 16-18 left. If someone wants to gift me another $20,000 or so, we can get him good enough 250s for outdoors haha.

@@MichaelLindsay Negative people don't serve any purpose in this sport. I hope you guys have a brilliant season and perform above your expectations. I know this is big undertaking, but with your knowledge and expertise you team will grow and get better as the season continues. You've got a great group of riders and they will perform better than they ever have knowing that you have backed them with this new team. Plus the comradely of being on a team will only improve them both physically and psychologically. Good luck at A1 and throughout the sx series, a lot of us will be rooting for you and the team. I also love that Chaparral is onboard for 2020 with you guys.

Bud, holly cow. Your running a supercross team. No more KZread videos in your pj's it's ridiculous. You need to represent yourself and your team as a professional. I like you and value your content. I get it, it's funny but come on. Your going next level, look the part!!

Matt Quinto Christmas morning, my garage, I like to be laid back and I wear flip flops every day. However, at the races, I’ll be more cleaned up. Heck, I’m even going to shave...

@@MichaelLindsay I'm so not a critic so I felt bad about that comment. I wish you and your team all the success possible. I truly beleive big doors swing on little hinges. May your team break the mold. Best of luck in 2020!

Jeff Walker, Why? The only place that guy is going is the LCQ. Stupid pick but I guess the kids think he's neat because he's got a KZread channel. His dad's got plenty of cash too so whatever. Being honest the guy is slow at the national level and his only thing he ever talks about is finishing 2nd to Plessinger at Loretta's one year when they were kids. That's also when he peaked.
