Do you know anything about the charging system. Most importantly stator out put in watts?

How do you get to the air filter? Its angled the wrong way to be convenient from the seat, and having the shroud and number plate as 1 piece makes it seem inconvenient from the side. Also, in general, it looks like itll be difficult to properly clean around the rim where the filter seals and inspect the air boot.

Will my extra wheels from my 17 model fit this bike?

Can’t wait for these changes to roll over to the 250. I would pick one up then!

Bike seems like it’s going to be awesome. But I’m not sure how I feel about the one piece shroud and number plates. I assume that’s going to be pricey. I know I used to gripe about the older ktms having a one piece rear fender. Always seemed to break it

If you could find out about the differences in the transmissions especially for the RX that would be awesome.... and thank you for what you do...awesome video as always

The MXGP guys have more freedom in the rules to build "works" bikes. His probably is lighter than a KTM, but it is also no where near a production bike.

Yeah i know, i was just wondering how far the production were from the prototype. Ktm sound to have the same weight on production and pro bikes, they put stronger heavier components but save weight with titanium parts bolt etc. Personally i like more japonese bikes but was wondering how close they are to the ktm. I think and hope that honda can have the first step of the podium with this bike.

2021 KTM 450sxf is 221.5 dry and the 2021 Honda CRF450r is 244 dry. The 2021 Honda CRF250r is 237 dry. Thats crazy when a 450 weighs 15.5 pounds lighter than a 250 😬

I would say it's quite likely.

Une belle machine de cross , moi j'ai fait de l'enduro dans ma jeunesse avec une Honda XR250R , bonne machine déjà avec un bon débattement et la suspension pro-link , j'ai eu plusieurs Honda , C110 - 50cc , SS 125 A et enfin Xr250R , j'ai passé du bon temps avec ces motos , merci pour la vidéo et vos commentaires.

Beautiful bikes. Would have been great if they harked back to the 80s and made the seat blue...

I would never buy a steel frame bikes, they rust and go through more abuse then aluminium. Steel frames are impossible to make look brand new without powder coating them.

The RX is their cross country race bike. It hasn’t had a 6 speed in its prior release either, just like the KTM 450 XC-F does by have the same tranny as the Moto model. The 6 speed wide ratio tranny is in the CRF450X model though.

If Honda made a 2 stroke I'd buy one.

Sounds like they havent given any attention to their overheating issues. The bad cooling is the only reason I wouldnt consider a CRF450R right now

They have modified the radiators a minor bit and the way the air is routed through them. I'm still waiting confirmation from Honda on water pump changes.

It’s a dirtbike, not a road bike, finally function of stupid looks, about bloody time Honda, other than they drop the dual exhaust you’d think it would lower the price, only Honda would give you less and charge you more! I guess finally a hydraulic clutch makes up for some of that and dwindling sales might as well charge those customer left more as they will always pay for more red..

Does anyone complain about how effective the aeros are on a Ferrari? Of course not, because the majority of owners don't give a shit about downforce, because they're not F1 drivers.

Davy Franck Totally agree about the performance, but like I said it’s a DIRTBIKE..!!! it’s not like Noah’s ark even if it still weighs like it, Ferrari is a track car on tarmac, not even close to what is a necessity, the bike looks much slimmer, you only have one pipe to damage, repack and service, if you are upgrading to an FMF or PC you only have one silencer to buy, butt and yes that was a BUTT lest it now dosen’t look like it has a booty as big as Kim Kardashians and that’s a good thing. It is the best looking Honda since the 2008 CRF, still not in the league of Roczens winning Red Bull Straight Rhythm Cr250r though, but props to them and for the Hydraulic clutch only took 20years kicking and screaming to do it, but finally they have, that’s functional btw. 🤙🤘

But why the price tag of 10,000 dollars. Dirt bikes now a days are getting absolutely out of hand with the retail on them. No matter what cc or manufacturer these bikes are getting even more difficult to purchase due to price. 🤣

The CRF is absolutely beautiful. The Japanese bikes have gotten soooo much better since they all started copying KTM. I wonder which Japanese brand will be the first to switch back to steel frame 🤣

Apologies, the ads in the middle of the videos pay us way more. In total, the past 12 months, I've only collected around $8,000 from KZread...which didn't even cover what I spent doing the Shootouts hahah!

@@MichaelLindsay I know you spend a ton on these videos, especially when you buy the bikes, yikes, (I think you just did that a year or so ago), huge expense. Run two or three in the start, and two at the end, I always let them run , if I need the product, I run the sound otherwise I just turn off my volume. One big issue with me is that I'm not glued to the screen on every video I watch, I may be wandering around taking care of things, listening, then oh fk fkfk..... a super loud commercial with some obnoxious noises and I can't get to the laptop soon enough to shut it down, also horribly ruins the flow of a video , imv. I often suggest to other viewers to let the commercials run , I've read that they need to run 30secs to get credit, I can't be sure of that figure but that is what I've read. If it's two , I let them both run out, and go take care of 'stuff' , then come back and rewind to view the content. I don't know how many you can run in the start and end, but I wouldn't mind if it was 3 or 4 each end, might piss others off, but you can always multi task and come back to the actual video.

@@MichaelLindsay Ok Michael, this works; Give your sponsors a shout out while you're doing your clips, or add some sponsors, Nick DiPaolo does it, Dr Steve Turley and a ton of others, it works, they make money , the sponsors make money, and no body minds, shout outs or even the promotion, they even go on for a few minutes , often.
