THANK YOU Stephanie beautiful performance - this goes right to the top of "Favorites"! Music played without emotional content is just notes - this playing has notes but they are the carriers of immense emotional content. You really have to know the instrument; you have to live the instrument to get to this level of accomplishment. Bravissima! (from Canada)

Stephanie, you play beyond feeling and emotion, you play with your very being and here have produced the most beautiful reproduction of this absolutely wonderful suit. Thank you Thank you Thank you. A thankyou too to the cameraman and the editor for showing us your skills in detail. For us would be classical guitarists this is an invaluable insight into correct application of the body to the instrument. At 77 years of age I am sure I will never get near you skills level but I will learn much from this video as I revel in the sheer pleasure of listening. Thankyou ,Andy

Partita No. 3 for solo violin in E major, BWV 1006, is a violin partition composed by Johann Sebastian Bach around 1720. The piece is structured in seven movements. The prelude is the most played movement in the work. It requires advanced bowing technique is fast (allegro) and is composed almost exclusively of sixteenth notes. It includes passages in « campanella » effect in which the same note (E) is successively played on two different strings open and adjacent with fingering, therefore with a different timbre and a resonance which can evoke a small bell. This melody would probably be the composer's most beloved. Listening to it differently is also beautiful. Music gives meaning to sound, from meaning to sound, is born emotion. Bis repetita *Lucien*

Originally this work is for solo violin, and can be adapted for any instrument. I for one am trying this on the electric bass, I can't get passed the prelude yet, it'll be a lifetime acheivement. Music so glorious!

My hat's off to you. Your playing is exceptionally good. I am teaching myself to play the cello suites on bass, and I am deriving fresh inspiration from your performance. If I can sound half as good on my instrument as you do on yours I will be happy. Thank you!

Wow...This piece by Gismonti is so moving, "And his heart no longer feared the flames of hell E o seu coração já não temia as chamas do inferno And of endless darkness. Love would come.E das trevas sem fim. Haveria de chegar o amor." And you made that poem come to life on your guitars. Your musicality is touching the depths of my Soul. Many thanks.

Stephanie plays with feeling and emotion because she loves the music she plays. Too many players just play to show how clever they are but they can never sound like this, even though they hit the right notes.
