I couldn't get it to launch. Think it's missing directX and idk how to install it. I can confirm your controller profile was there.
FYI, when you are on the controller community layout tab, there is a button you press to see more options.
Ok this might sound random if it’s not loading up but download a different game play it then try again. I had this issue with oblivion I then downloaded multi versus game went back to oblivion and it worked
Do you get disconnected often? No matter what I try, I kept getting disconnected
It’s inconsistent since iv changed to proton 9.9 it seems to be less but it still happens. But I don’t have a way to repeat the disconnect. Are you using cyroutilities?

Appreciate the content! I’ve tried the install a couple of times now, but right at the opening screen step shown at 8:40 I can’t tap “Play” on the screen or seemingly interact with that menu beyond moving the mouse pointer around. Seem stuck. Suggestions?

@kingsalami217 i can get to the website. When i click the download button, it takes me to a page to pick windows or repack. When i click repack it takes me back to the freelancer description page

Looks and runs better on the Legion Go. I have the OLED Deck too and the black levels are better but that's about it. The character designs in this game though...lol. Techno bunny playmates and fully armored, fully clothed, non-sexualized male characters. It's beyond pathetic, has no shame in pandering to the thirsty, and ruins immersion since the women are designed so distractingly sexy. Decent game otherwise if you're into this sort of predatory microtransaction grindfest.
Deck is playable but definitely not the best version but it works! Some are definitely interesting that’s for sure! I don’t normally play these kind of games but wanted to at least give it a shot, I’m definitely have fun, but like you I definitely wouldn’t spend any cash 💰 bad idea I mean if I get 15-30 hours of fun for free i can’t really complain.
Would be nice if it wasnt for the game kicking me out to the title screen at fucking random.

I had the choice of changing to the ally but went with the oled when I had the opportunity to upgrade! Sometimes yes it’s annoying when something doesn’t work but na love this thing

You should be able to use it through protontricks but I haven’t tried it myself
Are these still the same settings you use? Looks a bit blurry but actually seems like good performance
All my footage and settings, yep it’s is slightly blurry because I have dropped down the resolution to try and keep the frame rate up.

the steam deck is by far My favorite current Gen. I will suffer frame rate drop. Just so I can play on the deck instead of having to turn on the TV and start up the PlayStation Or the Xbox. So I'll play a rough game. With the deck.

If you search king salami you should see all my controller schemes let me know how you go? Yes for the icons I didn’t bring it up as the length of the game means it’s probably not needed but happy to let you know how.

I used this for a week or so and it worked great. But when I docked my steam deck and used a Bluetooth controller it seems to have screwed something up and now the game doesn’t recognize the steam deck control inputs while playing handheld. Any ideas?
Figured it out right after commenting. In case anyone else has this problem, go to the quick settings tab on the right side menu and change the controller order so that the steam deck input is 1. Thanks again for a great video, really been enjoying DAI on the deck.

You’re an absolute legend!!! Easy to follow. First time Ive manually added a Proton compatibility layer. Used to getting them from ProtonUp QT. Game running and controlling perfectly.
