Dude you rock. You just made one of my favorite games actually playable on the steam deck. Video was super easy to follow and it's basically like playing it on a 360 back in the day. As a note there seems to be a good Northern UI community layout up. Using that and a combo of some of the custom settings you talked about makes it amazing. Again dude I cannot thank you enough I was distraught after buying and trying to play on the deck initially lol.

@@kingsalami217 Well Salami or should I say KING! As promised I am getting back to you on this. I got my deck the other day and I thought I would give Oblivion a go.... Yeah awful controls like I am used too..... I used your guide in this video and holy crap!..... Mate you are a fudging legend!!! works amazing now and takes me right back to playing this on my PS3 back in the day. I cant actually thank you enough! it really is full controller support and plays very well with all the settings turned right up! Solid 60 FPS and just controls beautifully now! Thanks so much for your help and video I have subbed, liked and all that jazz! Well done and thanks so much! Nostalgia here I come!!!

I can't find your template on the steam deck.

The Xbox button prompts like Take all, Exit etc don't show up in the menus on Steam Deck like it does on PC?

Great guide! Everything works great! The look sensitivity is very slow but since I have the vanilla NorthUI, I can't figure out how to change the sensitivity because there is no option too. Do you have any workarounds?

Great guide! Only issue I'm having is that I can't get the radial menu to work... Not sure what I've done wrong. Any advice would be appreciated! But otherwise, it feels just like it did back on my Xbox 360 playthrough years ago!

Ah I got it! I'd set the numbers on the radial menu to the number pad numbers, not the ones above the letters. It's working now!

Figured it out today he did his tutorial incorrectly, for the skybsa files move them into the DATA folder not into the oblivion folder. After I did this it worked. Also if it’s still not working on steam go to controller layouts and find the gamepad option for games that natively support controllers. Hope this helps!

Did I? Most people seem to be fine, I’ll do a fresh install myself and make sure. If iv mucked up I’ll fix it.

@@kingsalami217 I had tried the reinstall twice before I made the slight change I may have just missed it in the video but I do know that u need to put those files into the data folder. I appreciate the tutorial though! Would have never discovered oblivion has controller support without it!

@rexsfinest7994 I’m installing it for a friend tomorrow so I’ll doublecheck and if I’ve made a mistake, I’ll own that and update the guide because that’s not fair on everyone

My left joystick is still not working great as it stutters unless i get it perfectly straight on.

@kingsalami217 after adjusting some setting it worked apparently if that happens you have to adjust the sticks zone.

Just plug it into a TV and use a keyboard and mouse you can literally run 4K 60 frames a second on ultra settings
