Natasha's Adventures

Natasha's Adventures

Hi everyone! My name is Natasha, originally I'm from the far east of Russia, from the town called Spassk-Dalny. I started this channel as the way to tell the world about my country, my home region, Russian politics and culture. Due to the war and the impossibility to express my thoughts freely, I had to leave Russia and now I live in Georgia. But I continue making videos about my country, together with sharing my life experiences as a Russian abroad. I hope my videos are interesting and useful for you!

Natasha you are so awesome. I love how you make little jokes, how you never put on airs, how you lovingly say hello to animals, how you find beauty in nature, how you cheer up in desolate places, how you make such cute accent slurs in English, how you are so honest, how you keep talking, how you always comment on grafitti, how you keep shining, how you feel so real, how you keep going, how you keep finding things to talk about... And the sweet lilting manner of your voice... I think you are wonderful, and if I was not married, I would want to marry you and be with you forever.

The economic pressure of sanctions and the cost of war is driving the Russian economy into the ground. Eventually, this will spell the end of Putin, who is the reincarnation of Stalin. Hopefully, this will be followed by reforms that will make it safe for you and Dasha to return home.

I have gained so much knowledge of these areas of the world (Kutaisi and other Georgian locales especially) that you have presented and introduced in your video. The majority of people in the US could hardly utter two sentences worth of knowledge of Georgia and its cities and locales. I am amazed at the number of cars in Kutaisi. Some of the vehicle brands are American, Japanese and also other nationalities. I love the interior shots of the restaurant at the 3:45 mark and also a beautiful morning shot of the town's historical architecture and the skyline of the city. These scenes at the 3:53 mark. The multistory white buildings features slightly reminds me of the architecture found in the cities of Mexico. And the church with the green cone shaped dome in the center of the visual is the typical eastern orthodox style architecture. Funny, to see a MacDonalds among these historical buildings and their elegant architectural attributes. Wow! the sky is so pristine blue and beautiful in those video shots. At the 4:10 mark, the French artist did a great job painting the face of the girl on the side of the building. Sad to see it defaced so callously by the graffiti drawing punk. I'm a little astonished to find some French influences in Kutaisi. So far, you have French, Georgian, Russian and English language presences in Kutaisi, and additionally you are taking German classes in Tbilisi. Needless to say you most likely will find other languages there too. By the way, the word Plaisir found in your video means pleasure in French. I took three years of French in high school here in America. Actually, Virginia. Its funny to find a city (Kutaisi) so close to Russia with bananas and palm trees growing in its midst. I have always thought of Russia as ice cold territories. The Dormition cathedral is beautiful .Eastern Orthodox architecture. Simple and humble in design and presence, it expresses a somewhat Puritanical philosophical purity and simplicity in its style of creation. Its an eleventh century old building. I'll have to remember that. All in all, I enjoyed so much watching this video because I previously know so little about this area of the world. Its been a fruitful educational excursion into the locales of Georgia. Even the dogs there look so peaceful. And also, you can learn a lot about cars roaming their junkyards of twisted metal and rusted chassis items. So happy to see you thriving with your wonderful and beautiful nature in the Georgian environs. And as always, take care!-------Oh I almost forgot, I found a you tube video of an album called Russian girl by Jenia Lubich. She is a Russian artist and singer. Her work is brilliant. I think the donater of the you tube video is Kwaidanrecords. My favorite songs are Russian girl, Pagbuno/pernicious, the way out, and up and down. Her melodic style is lilting, haunting and ingeniously dissonant yet evenly flowing in character and tonal essence. Definitely, give her a listen! Thats all for now. Great video, and do take care of yourself in the future! Bye!

Wow Kutaisi has such a quaint and peaceful vibe to it, the hills and mountains surrounding it are incredible and the city really shows its soviet past with much of the architecture. It's crazy to think it's been here for millenniums, but has remained so small. I hope the government makes more of an effort to maintain its historical landmarks in the future, the city deserves it

Very enjoyable vlog. Liked the cable car and the views. The church was impressive but only saw the outside. Great you are confident to use the buses now although they seem a bit small. Always find the links with the argonauts very interesting and something I was not aware of as don't know the area at all. Don't worry about not being a local as you are viewing places as we would so appreciate your perspective always. Great trip and good to travel around more.

Hey Natasha, many thanks for your video showing your views and opinions on Kutaisi. What makes it special? It is not a repetition of the possible video of the Tourist Board. Your view are much appreciated, being a non-gorgian is an asset because your views are more or less “neutral”. Admire your progress of the Georgian language!! I hope that Georgia will turn it’s face to Europe. I’ll send you some pictures of Dutch street art regards, Leen Barendregt
