Response to my video on 'discrimination of Russians', protests in Tbilisi & will I leave Georgia?

Recently I posted a video called “Are Russians discriminated in Georgia?” where I showed how sometimes I feel out of place living here, but also how I cope with these feelings by engaging in rallies and events organized by Russians in Tbilisi. I received many comments on that video, so today I'd like to reply to them. I’ll also tell you about the recent protests in Georgia regarding the “foreign agents law", and share how I've been doing this months

Hearing the ukrainians, they are so upset because russians don't do anything in Russia for a change. And flocking out of Russia is unuseful since they will become citizen of other countries and still nothing will change. Or Navalny is looked suspiciously since he was ok with Crimea annexation back in 2014, and ukrianians think every russians has an imperialistic mindset where russia can annex what it wants. Since opposition is impossible in Russia (unless ypu wanna start a revolution) it is necessary to organize abroad in a safe country where gru and fsb cannot kill, a comitee of liberation of Russia. Maybe you need to organize, show to the world there is a real effort abroad for a change.think of free france under de gaulle in WW2, they sat in the table of winners even if the entire France collaborated with Nazi. This comitee should also lay the base for a reformation of education of russians, pushing on work, meritocracy and education, russia has everything to be if not a superpower but a wealthy state with peaceful attitude. Russia must be like Canada, not like Usa or China.

To any Georgians reading the comments: I developed an overwhelmingly positive view of Georgia and the Georgian people after watching several Russian KZreadrs who have fled to your country. They say you have generally been very, very hospitable to Russians, which is especially amazing considering Russia occupies much Georgia; your cuisine is delicious; your mountains are beautiful; Tbilisi has its share of nightlife; etc. There has been a little friction over rent increases, but that’s understandable. 🇬🇪

Georgia welcomes everyone. Our ancestors (and I've seen when Georgians toasting for the guests) "When a guest comes, it is like a sunrise, when a guest leaves, it is like a sunset." All kinds of ethnic groups live in Georgia because they love nature and nobody bothers them. But they have no passion to learn Georgian language and culture. Even two parliamentarians don't speak Georgian at all because they come from Armenian and Azerbaijani communities. We learned that our ancestors made so much mistakes that we paid a huge price. We have too many bad experiences with Russia for 200 + years. Many Russians expect we have to speak Russian. Some Russians irritate Georgians by saying "Glory to Russia." The funny thing is that, historically Georgia has been sandwiched between three empires, Persia, Ottoman and Russian empires. They all wanted to get Georgia. However, most immigrants in Georgia are from Russia, Persia and Turkey. We became minorities.

Hello from Georgia. Many Russians live in Georgia for 5-10 years and don't know even one word in Georgian. They expect that every Georgian must know Russian and speak to us Russian without asking if we understand it.They think its still soviet union, when people knew Russian. If i was Russian I'll never stay in the country, where i will not feel safe. I don't understand what this girl asking for but Georgia is really safe country.Except everything Georgian people are still patient and hospitable towards Russians, even though many of them are rude and don't deserve it.
