Great review! oi! Moog synthesizers can accept voltages from -5V to +5V, but the beatStep Pro is -10V to +10V, I can see you connect them directly, won't the Moog get eventually fried?

Do all synths have those midi capabilities ? Ie to have all those parameters controllable via Cirklon … filter etc etc I know there are some earlier synths like Juno 106 which only have basic midi functions, but how does one know wich synths have all the capabilities as used to control by the Cirklon ?

That was well explained and thank you. When the polyryhtmn knobs are turn and their buttons lit, are they synced to the main clock? It sounds as if they are playing what they like and when? Also...I have only had mine 24hrs so about the sequencers 1 and 2. Can seq 2 be set to run immediately after seq 1 has run? Thereby giving an 8 step sequencer? OR are they both completely seperate from each other but synced to gether?

Not impressed. He only tweaked the same 4 knobs in the first 9 minuets then the rhythm got rather boring so I left. What a waste of a machine. Could have achieved the same sound on a Bontempi keyboard costing $20.

Why are you holding down C key @ 12:11 ? Do you need to hold a key to allow input audio (the drums) through?

Very good tutorial, thanks very much. Does the Subharmonicon also make sense for people who want to use nothing but an external sequencer? Can I modulate a drone and use the sequences instead of a complex envelope or even an lfo? And is it possible to adjust the sound so that this basic Autobahn-sound doesn't immediately jump out at you?
