I've read that there could be issues sequencing the Werkstatt with the BSP due to differences in the cv specifications (-5V to +5V on the WS and 0V to 10V on the BSP). I've seen differing opinions ranging from "the BSP will fry the WS over time!" to "it just won't sound right." I'm new to analog synthesis so I'm not sure what the correct answer is in this case, but as someone who already has the Werkstatt and has been eyeing the BSP, I'd love to get your take on the topic.

i just got the werkstatt and upon connecting it to my beatstep pro, it began giving me this really awful sounding hum. i tried moving my cables around to mitigate any interference but it's still going on. it's basically making the beatstep werkstatt combo unusable and that sucks cause the BSP is my only sequencer :( i'll edit this comment if i figure out a solution

@@shayleebandI’m pretty sure you can change the voltage on the BSP using the Arturia MIDI Control Center (Centre?).

Great review! oi! Moog synthesizers can accept voltages from -5V to +5V, but the beatStep Pro is -10V to +10V, I can see you connect them directly, won't the Moog get eventually fried?

Sick sounds, is the Squid Salmple creating the beats 2-3mins into the demo?
