R32 GTST Build - This is my new 300 plus RWKW (400 plus RWHP) RB25DET swapped R32 GTST Nissan Skyline race car. It's insanely fast and just destroys tyres as soon as it's on boost you can also hear the twin screamer pipes doing their thing at 5000 RPM and higher.

This build is an ongoing project on my R32 GTST Skyline Drift and Track Day car. I modify, repair and improve the car slowly and enter events like Jap Nats (Japanese nationals) which is a time attack event for JDM cars. I do semi regular drift events at QR (Queensland Raceway) and Archy (Archerfield Speedway) I also compete in Hill climb evens such as the Noosa and Mount Cotton Hill Climb in Brisbane. I would like to eventually enter the car into the WTAC at Eastern Creek Raceway.

    Your vids are excellent. The tech stuff is really thorough and easily understood- most technical people cannot do that. Plus the human side is so typical of what a total dilbert (like me) goes through - terror, anxiety, frustration, then huge relief at not fooking it all up. Thank You for showing that.

  • @martysinclair9708
    @martysinclair9708Ай бұрын

    No don’t buy a new pump, that’s the power steering control module, it can fail which causes the pump to constantly run, these are a lot cheaper than a new pump aswell, give it a test when you turn your car off, if you can still hear it and the steering is always light then the module has failed.

    You need to invest in some resurrected metal pipes of various diameters for F hard to undo sleeping bolts, saves on skin rips. -dude, them two threaded holes in the disc/drum flange are screw jacks that push against the axle, no need to lever or hit studs -dude, and we didn’t get to see, never use a rattle to do up wheel nuts, sure run the nuts down but hand torque finish,-fella, your not qualified to make video-dude

  • @tangles01

    Thos holes are not threaded. They are on some cars, not this one. I've done up thousands of nuts with a rattle gun, yet to cross thread one. I always make sure I've got the thread started. Based on missing those details alone, I'd say you're unqualified to comment, as you paid no attention to it.

    You have to take the driver's seat out and disconnect the handbrake mounting point to do this job or else you will be pulling your hair out. On misfires get a load of this info. When these 4.0.litre engines misfire when cold then run ok when warm the problem can well be in the fuel rail. Yes, the fuel rail. After they have done a few kms they get gunked up in the end of the fuel rail and they will not idle properly especially when cold. You have to take it off and try and chip or clean it out or put a new one on. My 780,00km Fairmont had this problem but it runs perfect now. I started to look somewhere else after changing a multitude of plugs coils fuel filters testing electrics computer and listening to many so called wised up individuals and other ''experts' some of those Ford dealer 'mechs' I used to be a heavy vehicle mech and my approach has always been a process of elimination. If changing coil packs plugs again within 12 months does not fix it, then the problem is obviously elsewhere.

  • @stevanzaharic

    Clip is going out easy with small screwdriver and sliding back in slot in same position when you move cable little back which i have done on new cable,because it was in the end adjustment and could not reach Park and Drive selection on cluster screen.

    @@iino1goodiips428 ,If you wont put screw in shifter lach you have grind off that nob to be able to put screw in and few washes with silicine grease,because it should move free.Ofcourse if you put new cable you have replace that part with new nob for shifting,because it is not point to destroyed new shifting cable with driling hole on new cable with new bush.I have puchased 4 spare bushes on ebay for shifter cable and I have always two in car tool box,because plastic fail from time. Diametar of 5mm bolts long about 35 mm with few washes going true cable bush hole and with little silicone grease it is easy to press in same like original,but I have had isue my nob was broken under console inside of car and I have to open console with help of screwdriver and keeping cable in drive I was able to come home without towing and after I have fixed problem.

    Mate, I wish you had told us what could go wrong! First non of the coils came out intact, the top separated from the rubber tube, then I had to use pliers with a strong pull to get the tubes out. Then I found one plug hole was full of oil - over the plug top, so It looks like the rocker cover will have to come off right? Sound like a difficult and dirty job? I should have identified the problem cylinder, then disconnected the coil connector and run the car to a garage. It would not run as was with the oil filled plug. I'm suprised it worked smoothly last week? I have yet to look at the plugs, as I need a special socket to remove them. Iridium done 65,000 KM.

  • @tangles01
    @tangles015 ай бұрын

    Never had any of those issues to warn you about mate. Oil in the plug well could just be covered gaskets, all the way up to cracked head. It's hard to know. No special sockets needed for plugs, the iridium I have don't need it. You'll need a uni and extension for number 6 though.
