You can bleed like normal, but it bypasses the abs, to do that you have to run the abs test/bleeding profile. But that said rust rotor also slows the stopping. Quick coat of paint after the derusting never hurts.

I've checked out the ABS comment, and yeah seems there is a plug in the BMW dealership does to cycle the ABS pump.

Paint is more for Rotor hat and edge, not so much the face but that burns quick enough anyway, stops/slows down any future rusting issue, and most like the looks you can pick.

@@wobblysauce took her on the gravel got that abs pumping a few times and the pedal pushed back at me. The pedal is now solid. I might re flush to ditch what was in the abs unit. I usually stick some anti sieze on the face of that hat. Cosmetics like a painted rotor had completely hidden by the wheel rim doesn't matter to me.

Yep, quick flush is good after the ABS activation. I am sure there are cars 20 years on that never had the ABS activated.
