My daughter went to Japan for two weeks with her husband and all.ox his family. She told me that it was a culture shock for the children plus everyone stands to the sides of an escalates, that the people where very polite. He husband had a mustache and his mother ( who is Japanese said, " guess your going shave the must off " he shaved it off. My daughter really liked it in Japan and said it was beautiful there.

Exactly the kind of video I was looking to watch with my favorite bowl of porridge. This scene from princess M was my favorite too and it’s nice to know that I’m not alone ❤

Thank you for sharing your beautiful culture. I love how you practice consideration for others, rather than overly focusing on one’s self. We can learn much from this here in the west. 😊

Thank you for showing me the correct way to make matcha. Lately, I’ve been making matcha with honey and pouring it over ice with some almond milk. I love it!

I bet the edges of the mats stay intact longer if you don't step on them wearing out the fabric. I would love to visit Japan, but probably won't for health reasons unless I can take a boat there. No flying for me. I think I would get along and like it there. Very sensible rules.

When you use a shared laundry room for a whole building, you own a month's worth of underpants at least! While I do love the Japanese aesthetic, some of this seems obsessive compulsive and yet another source of stress and anxiety.

I don't very view bathing in hot water as a pleasant experience. It was nice as a kid, but in mouses in Canada, the bath tubs are shallow and narrow. Also, for some reason, the hair on my head really hate baths, and I notice I shed a lot of hair whenever I try to bath in warm/hot water. Also, the shower makes it easier to clean my face and get rid of mucus. However, I can stay virtually all day in ice-cold water. Lol ! Also, food, I don't believe there is "unhealthy" foods per say, unless we count junk food and highly processed foods. There is in natural foods only foods suitable for your lifestyle and those not suitable for your lifestyle. If someone works or does a lot of activities in the cold, fatty, protein-rich foods are the best foods, and they need to be calorically dense to support the higher demands of cold weather. That doesn't mean one should bring a bunch of dodgy Macdonald hamburgers to their winter camping trip or their construction in -40 workshift, but some nice fatty bone broth with some whole grain bread. Potted buttered fish (the homemade kind, not the bad stuff in the can) with oatmeal bread is one of the most delicious combinations possible, and it's healthy if you're in the cold all day. But this is way too calorically rich and fatty for normal days.
