Hello there, I have this thermostat and i have a question, i got new furnace, when i turn a A/C on, the fun turns on not A/C, is it bad condition in furnace??
Thank you for the detailed instructions
The hoax of global warming………
The constant gesturing from media training makes me uncomfortable
good report
Sorry, sis, what fluid was added when installing the nipple?
R-4Tenayy…….jenayy
How to wire up the ac to this
Like an episode of project farm. I love it.
Another iPhone style marketing🤦🏻♂️ time to Redneck mode 410a systems..😂
I just ordered the GENTEQ 5SME39NXL097 from the x13 line, it looks identical the the one in your video. The one I bought is the exact same part number as what's printed on my old one. So you're saying it still might not be programmed correctly? 5SME39NXL097
I like the videos and they are very well explained
First it was the ozone, now it is gwp, I call it a moneymaking scam!
The white polyethylene insulation corroded my minisplit lines. I bought new lineset made by mueller usa. Then I used the rubber foam insulation, two years and no issues.
Craig why the change now why not like 10 years ago if other countries Ben using this type of refrigerant for decades is the US behind according to this change? 🤔
Yes they are very much behind. In terms of refrigerants, if you watch what Europe is doing, the USA usually follows suit later.
you are the best!😃
What I tell techs is when charging using sub cooling, they will find the liquid line will cool (go solid) @ approx 20-30 deg above ambient on the gauge. It was just an approximate and as a matter of fact, w/ assuming a clean coil and correct CF motor. I really never gave much thought with an accurator used with a TXV. I'd prob do superheat as a precaution, and subcooling to figure it out. Good vid but will be over the heads of most jr. and some senior techs!
I can't find the target subcooling or superheat on a York packaged unit at my work. Can't find it on any data plate, and the manual for the unit was damaged by water and is now illegible. What can I do?
Americans will use 3/16th of an inch and not say cm 😂😂😂😂 It's 0.5 cm or 4.7mm for normal people out there.
L.G. tech training says to check charge by the delta T at the indoor unit (18-20 F) not by gauges
North America is only 7.5% of the world population 🙄 and can not control "Global Warming" nor the "Ozone layer" ! Bring back R-22 and R-12, and have a nice day.
Doing my F gas course this week, 2 days in and this all made sense and definitely helped. Great video
Another great video Craig..great information
Topping off a leaking system with a flammable gas makes as much sense as gassing up my service truck with fuel as gas is leaking on the ground.
I love seeing all of these people freaking out 😂🤣😂🤣
Thanks for this video Well done And I hope there will be a translation into Arabic Thank you for this effort
stupid government not gaining a thing
Sweet video ! I just ran into this issue. When I turn my thermostat to either AC or the heat pump, it blows the 5amp fuse on the board inside the furnace unit. If I use just electric heat, then no issues. I isolated the short to the yellow wire by unhooking it from the AC unit outside. I turned my thermostat back to cool and the fan on the furnace came on with no issues and the fuse didn’t blow again. I decided to use the spare wire from the outside unit and used the black/white wire. Once that was hooked up again, the fuse blew as soon as I requested cool. What I also noticed on the board where the wires hook up, is that I have 2 wires on the same connection. (Yellow and white, but now black/white and white). It’s an older unit so I don’t have wires at my thermostat to test. I did trace the thermostat wires from the furnace unit and put together the new black/white wire with the white wire. Now the fuse no longer blows when I switch it to cool, but now my outside unit is not switching on. Any ideas ? 🥲
How is freon R22 still available ? :/
Thank god I found your video! I’m house sitting and it’s 3am and the fan on the unit keeps running So I took the circuit breaker out of the outside unit and it still ran! I can’t find the inside breaker box anywhere!🤷🏼♀️ so I pulled the thermostat off the wall and the fan finally stopped! Was so afraid to go to sleep Incase the fan burned up and caught something on fire! Thank you for your videos! Now off to sleep! 🤦♀️
You are the best of the best.
Looks like my system. Low charge. Old r-22. It has got to go. Bubye. inverter aciq here i come.
Ran into a call today 4 degree subcool and 4 degrees superheat with a 17 DT any ideas?
Stock up on 410😂
OH NO, I HAVE TO READ THE BOTTLE TO DISTINGUISH BETWEEN THE DIFFERENT REFRIGERANTS ; WHAT WILL I DO
Not working with 454b, it has pfas, screw that
My asshole puts out like 3,500 GWP so I don’t see an issue 🤷🏻
I've been in this for 40 years. You do a very good job, son
The leak detector is more then likely get jumped out by everyone.
Using big daddy government to sell a product. If that isn't corporate welfare I don't know what is.
My education was from your home state where I graduated from Middlesex County College in 1985 with an ASET Degree And DeVry University in Woodbridge, NJ with a Digital Electronics Certification. Professor Lee was my Digital Professor at DeVry! Thank you very much!
Can a pc cooling radiator act as the evaporator?
Thanks!
Thank you so much! Hopefully my video has been a helpful resource for you!!
Amazing! I use fan for just fan. I use cooling with automatic, so indoor blower motor comes on according to the temperature and compressor and outside fan motor come on also!
been doing hvac for 40 years, I honestly didn't think I could hate my job any more - until this crap
But thanks for the video
Bullshit we should stand against this
Which book would be good inverter mini split ones or procedure for air conditioning ones please advise me
That really depends on what you are looking to learn. The refrigerant charging book is more for single stage and two stage ducted systems, while the mini split book is specifically on those but does go over both electrical and the refrigerant side.
Hey I noticed you say the red and white wires from the condenser going to the furnace board don’t matter when connecting to Y and C but mine were installed reverse (white to Y and red to C), I swapped the Honeywell thermostat to the Alexa thermostat and now the condenser won’t turn on 🤔, anything else I might have missed ??
Why does not the DAMN Government provide a massive discount COUPON to the working class-Man when he has to replace his new gauges!!! ?????? F-This Government!!!!!
