Your explanation reminds me a lot of the early 2000’s city builder Pharaoh. If Manor Lords is like that, then I’m totally in! I played a ton of Pharaoh back in the day.

Map creator modes on console. Far Cry Instincts Predator's full on ability to make a custom map from the ground up, including the terrain, buildings, literally every aspect of the map. Even older games like one of the Time Splitters had something similar. Even something as simple as Halo's Forge mode. Not only does it increase playability, but I feel that a lot of player's creativity outweighed the developers' themself and made much more fun maps, and allowed for newer ways to play things like infected modes, where instead of basically everyone being infected in just a few minutes, you could build a base and hold out as long as you can, and then switch sides and do it again as the attackers. I know that's just one long run on sentence, but this isn't english class.

Its insane that Tekken 7 has 10 million sold and 8 sold 2 mil in a month. Fighting games should never cost more than $25-$30. I will never understand why people want to sink $70 into a fighting game. I get it, gaming is a relative art form, everyone has their own tastes, but I don't dislike fighting games, I've just always played free ones on PS+ or Games Pass and I just don't think a full MSRP is a good investment in those. They don't offer much in terms of substance or immersion, they're like battle Royale games like Warzone, instant action/gratification, quick way to have a bit of fun for a couple hours, obsolete when the next installment releases. I've always felt that gaming MSRP should be based on the content and level of polish in the mechanics and art style- massive, detailed games like Witcher 3/RDR2/Elden Ring, should be full MSRP, games like Tekken/MK/SF should be half that. Tekken is a gorgeous game.. but it should be when there's no expansive open world accompanying those graphics.

Yeah, this is to pricey. I played only Breath of the Wild which I didnt enjoyed that much at first but I am playing it now again and having much more fun. Dont know why. I also have Tears of the Kingdom where I didnt even progress through the tutorial islands and uninstalled it. But now when I am enjoying BoTW and I will definetly go for Tears of the Kingdom too, I was looking for different games in the series more linear ones. But fudge those prices. I might just Emulate shit on my powerfull computer. I am always happy to support the developers but not Nintendo by buying 15 year old games for the price of Tripple A's. They are making it to difficult. I know the fanboys just buys them. But I am not one. I actually hate how the switch is just weak as shit while nobody gives a damn because Nintendo.

Halo has great difficulty. Enemy aggression, ranks, numbers increase. What stops it from having the best difficulty goes as follows: enemies have stronger offense/defence and or the player's health/shields are gutted. In other words, it feels fake. Gee, wonder why. I don't mind being ganked by 4 Elite Majors. THAT's fair. Just don't gut the few defences I have against them. More aggressive, numerous and higher ranks make Halo hard to beat. Weaker health/shields make it hard to play.

I remember hearing about that V.A.Proxy game in Number 4 when I saw somewhere online a short video of the character parrying the explosion from a nuke. He just straight up split the explosion in two by parrying it. It's obvious that this game doesn't really take itself that seriously.

Not sure how the tipping will work, its banned in other countries and also frowned upon culturally as it feels like an insult that someone is tipping you. Edit: We really need laws to protect consumers for digital products. Their screwing their gamers like their scamming a bunch of 5 year olds.

I mean… the new Denuvo feature won’t stop leaks from occurring. I can easily see leakers signing an agreement saying a third party can review and report on the footage without explicitly showing it so doesn’t really solve anything. Might impact credibility on what’s speculation and what isn’t but I guess we’ll see how it plays out

Standard practice these days. Serve a half baked idea n sell it for 100$ then update it non stop till its baked. Then from there they start adding things. Why they cant just give us a full game with reasonable bugs n glitches.

The funny thing about Monster Hunter World is that I ran the whole game with the charge blade. Easily the most complex weapon in the game, but I didn't know the half of it. Call me an idiot but I literally beat the whole story and reached G rank before realizing what the charges were. It added even more depth and complexity to the weapon, and I was effectively using it at half its potential the entire time. No wonder it was exceptionally hard for me. After that my second favorite weapon is the switch axe. Both are unique weapons that I've never seen in any other game. Compared to the charge blade, the switch axe is faster, and can be more fun depending on your play style. The rest of the weapons aren't bad, but didn't really catch my interest (although I've tried them all at some point), but they just function as expected, like every other game with those weapons. The insect glave is slightly unique just because of the insects, but the weapon itself isn't anything special.

In regard to watchdogs being dead, eh whatever. The main character of watchdogs 2 was annoying. GTA V is the real loss thought. Never have I started a GTA expecting a multiplayer experience. It is fun when it is there but not the focus for me. With the single player not getting any DLC after the amazing DLC of IV it made me sad. And the whole GTA online thing becoming such a huge shift for the franchise I am now hesitant about GTA VI. Thankfully RDR2 proves their commitment to single player but I will absolutely not be rushing to buy GTA VI. I don't need the day 1 experience when I know the SP is not the long term commitment.
