The prices of premium versions is ridiculous. I only pre-order if it's from a proven studio (Santa Monica, Naughy Dog, Rock Star) that very rarely put out duffers. And then only if there are some tangible physical extras (steel book, art cards etc) .

It was never a $5 discount. It was a $5 reservation fee and then you payed the remaining $55 when the game released. But I do miss getting cool preorder exclusives

I hope the combat will get complete overhaul. I didn't enjoy the combat. The learning curve/mechanics were poorly designed. Hopefully, they will expand upon it.

Pre-orders serve no real purpose for the consumer/player anymore. Before this digital age, it made sense. You guaranteed your physical copy in store when stores could quickly run out of launch day stock. Today it makes no sense other than to, possibly, show support for a title before launch.

we need Kratos to stop being a bitch. Trying to play GoWR, the plot was driven by him ignoring Atreus and overall just being a bitch. The entire time I played (which I didnt finish because I thought it was that bad), I was just like come on Kratos, lets show these Norse Gods who we are, lets show them who fucked up the Greek Pantheon. but nope.

no. strength is kratos' character trait. kratos literally means power in Greek. atreus has his own traits like language and magic. god of war should've died with 3. the reboots didn't do anything substantial enough to warrant the name god of war.

Definitely didn't expect Insomniac to just drop the Bouncer pre-order bonus from Ratchet & Clank 2016 for free in the U.S. After 8-years of it being unavailable for those who didn't pre-order & don't live in Japan. Crazy!

I've sunk 890+ hours in Slay The Spire and JUST beat the Watcher Assentation level 20 and now there's a second game announced!? Oh gods...goodbye life😂 SO EXCITED FOR THAT!

Only Ubisoft (and definitely EA) could tackle a topic as infinitely cool as "Star Wars Open World Outer Rim Criminal Video Game" and absolutely butcher it.

Whatever they're doing, if they are currently working on a new GoW I hope they will keep the same mechanics as GoW 2018 and Ragnarok. As much as I loved GoW 1,2 and 3, the 2018 was something special and Ragnarok kinda left me wanting more!!

The game "Godfall" got a lot of hate but the developers basically took every aspect from the GOW 2018 game and even made some things better tho from a pure gameplay / comabt view Godfall is way more fleshed out. And the story / voice acting ist pretty decent too not smth we have never seen before but good if u can get it for max 20€/$ u are totally fine (u probably can get it for 5-12 bucks these days)

Kingdom Come deliverance never really got my attention because of the lack of fantasy elements, but when I decided to play it I fell in love. I am really happy to hear that something kingdom come-like is on the way.

The lack of fantasy elements is why my dad was so heavily into it. He was hardcore into the SCA and KC:D was his dream game. He got a PS4 just to play that game and he played it religiously from the day it dropped until the day he did.

Preordering made sense when everything was physical and there was quite literally a limited amount of copies available at stores. That being said, even in 2018 my local GAME ran out of copies of rdr2

I’m surprised the whole Triple-I Initiative wasn’t mentioned. A whole lot of indie games got revealed including slay the spire 2 and prince of Persia. Woulda been cool to mention the rest for others to see

I feel that one of the only ways gow can continue with Kratos is if there’s a pretty big time skip where something happens like Atreus getting into some shit as a full fledged god and Kratos needs to step in.

Outlaws is off my list now that we know it needs internet to install the physical version, which makes no sense. I'll just wait for it to go on a massive (huehue) sale, like most Ubi games do a few months after release.

What was missing from the Triple I Initiative announcements was the 'Shadow of Doubt' sniper assassin trailer. 'Shadow of Doubt' is shaping up to be one of the most unique and ambitious games I have ever played.

I agree on the pre-order stance, it used to mean something with physical copies as you would then be guarenteed a copy of the game on day 1 but now with so many digital options it isnt worth it. Ever since Cyber Punk I havent pre-order a game, usually wait a month or two to allow the initial patches to happen and hopefully some kind of discount. Used to get fomo but nowadays ill happily wait!

Supporting the devs is the one/only reason to pre-order. Shift up, it's their first major game. Ubisoft, Western AAA, etc.. ABSOLUTELY no excuse for pre-ordering.

Haven't played Valhalla DLC for GoW but they definitely set it up so Atreus can have the reigns passed to him. He's a more versatile character and his destiny could lead to a lot of interesting directions for the franchise. Loki can shapeshift so they could still go into many different playstyles if they wanted to explore that

From what I heard, this was suppose to be their last G.O.W game, let Kratos have his happy ending.

I will be watching some streams of the 3 days early access players to see if it flops, and then cancel pre-order if necessary the day before, since it won't cost me anything to cancel last minute.

Speaking of vampires, Vampire Weekend just released a bomb ass album, bumping that and Gears of War Ultimate Edition this weekend.

My biggest red flags for any game promotion. Each on there own is bad, when when all together practically guarantee a terrible game banking on pre-orders. -Promoting the graphics significantly more than anything else -3 Days early access -No demo or early review for critics -When it's clearly a live service but they refuse to acknowledge it

Ubisoft is like McDonalds. McDonalds could make something as wrechid as Hagis. But when you taste that organ meat, you still know that it was from McDonalds. Even that could be McDonalized. They'll even sell their new McHagis for a limited time. The other thing that you feel is the sickness after paying Ubisoft to feed you McHagis.

I played the demo of Laysara: Summit Kingdom. It is good fun. But right now I am playing Against the Storm, so it might be a while before I get around to play it.

I would love this. The gap between 3 & 4 could be given to us. With many other mythologies to explore.

Outlaws just looks cringe, every ad for it is just pushing the main character as "everyone's favorite new scoundrel." The fact that it's referring to a brunette from Lucas film is also not a good sign.

I am so excited to see what Warhorse has in store for us! hope its a KCD2
