"There is no Cow Level" has the same energy as "There is no war in Ba Sing Se"
@RavencroftRoost

Jokes on you. "There is no cow level" inspired "there is no war in ba sing se"
The best part of the Cow Level is that they went around recording other Blizzard employees to say moo without telling them why and that's the voices of the cows in the level.
Gotta love the deadpan "moo"s for the voice acting in the cow level.😂
Wife had a seizure last night so we both took off work to go to a doc appointment for her, glad you guys always post stuff. Honestly brightens up my day/mood hearing yalls voices. You guys are always there. I know it’s just games..maybe not that serious..but I still appreciate it. Love y’all

That MGS Psycho Mantis' swapping controller fight is also one of the best easter egg to date, and no one had ever thought of following such gimmick since then.
I remember how excited i was when a magazine told me there was a spyro demo hidden on my crash bandicoot disc and it turned out to be true! My mind was blown.
Running into the invisible wall in Motocross Madness is all I ever did in that game. It was so much fun just to do it over and over again.
Motocross madness sure brings good memories used to play it on my cousin's pc Always tried to climb those mountains only to get blasted

Yes me to but it definitely was no easter egg is was just how the developers kept players in bounds of the map
The original way you had to go about unlocking the bow in battlefield 4 will be an all time favorite Easter egg for me. I still remember when the community found the vault but still didn't know how to open the door
The Naboo fighter was broken. What an incredible Easter egg. I remember that reveal was the only topic of conversation on the playground
Played motocross madness a fair bit as a kid, and whenever I had a bad day I’d just hop on and launch my guy into oblivion. Thanks for bringing back some good old memories! Another favourite myth of an Easter egg I liked was that Bigfoot was in San Andreas but I never actually got to see it lol
Factor 5 created rogue squadron. Level 5 are the ones that made the Layton games.
I’m always surprised how many Easter Eggs and hidden stuff Hearthstone has. I don’t think I’ve seen any channel mention it before but it’s pretty wild lol
I literally just bought homefront not to long ago and have actually been enjoying the game and had no idea about the time splitters thing until now

The MegaMan Battle Network Series has some great easter eggs. Really not until being an adult and the legacy collection, Bass is the one of the most popular, notable, and timeless characters from the OG Megaman to Battle Network, but pretty much all notable characters existed before in the OG series.
Love seeing these just in time before sleeping!
back in a day you play same games 100 times

Yup, back when you only hand a small handful of games, even if some of them weren't amazing, you played the shit out of them. Now with stuff like Xbox Gamepass and Steam games costing almost nothing on sale, everyone's game library is hundreds

@@SpongeBob.Rippedit's funny because when I was young and started out playing, first on a Spectrum then an Amiga, games were so easy to copy that we handed about loads at school or between friends. A game had to stick to get you to keep at it. Then as technology advanced suddenly that wasn't the case and you had to rinse the fun out of a game because you couldn't afford loads. Now it's more like when I grew up, although being an adult now I try to not dump a game half way.
motocross madness just unlocked a bunch of memories. pc gamer demo discs oh man.
I remember "Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles" on PSP had fully playable versions of "Rondo of Blood" and more importantly "Symphony of the Night" on the disc. Arguably the best Castlevania game ever made, and it never released on PSP except as a hidden collectible that unlocked the full game in the extras menu of a kinda mid remake of an older game. I ended up playing it a lot more than the main game, in the end 😆
I''ve looked for clips from motorcross madness for years, only played it when I was about 4/5. Thank you for ending my long quest!
While the All Bonds cheat was really cool, I'd argue the secret island on the Dam level was even more legendary. I remember people obsessing trying to get over to that section of the map, until a GameShark code finally made it happen. Unfortunately, there was nothing there except a tower and a gun turret, but it was still cool to see.

Jake, you just singlehandedly awoke a core memory from my childhood with that Motocross Madness easter egg! I forgot how much I used to enjoy doing that when I was like 5!

Good video gameranx keep it up luv ur videos❤
I spent hours on motorcross madness when I was a kid. And yes, that Easter egg was absolutely a random discovery for a 7 year old. I would do it 10-15 times before finally getting out if the game. It was really amazing
Love you guys thanks for the amazing videos everyday
Man, what a well-made video loved this one
One of the greatest moments of my gaming career… finding a grandfather under a rock in hell cows…
Everybody knew about the secret cow level in diablo 2 though, since most copies were sold with the bradygames strategy guide included which straight up told you about it...
OMG! I played Motocross Madness at a friends house a few times as a kid and TOTALLY forgot about it until this video. Driving into the invisible wall that launched you sky high was hilarious!
You know what would be better than having Timesplitters inside another game as an Easter egg. Another Timesplitters. Embracer, you killer of all things good
Jake, how you gonna rub salt in that old wound? 😂 Banjo Three-ie Ya bastard.
Homefront The Revolution is criminally underrated and over-hated for no real reason other than the internet saying it's bad. The on-the-fly-weapon customization and conversion is absolutely bonkers in the best way imaginable. Want a 3-burst grenade launcher with a 16x scope? Why the hell not

@@thedarkemissary I did, my point still stands. People just like riding the hatewagon because they think it makes them look cool. I’m not going to pretend like it didn’t have problems but it proves how moronic and sheepish the gaming community can be
@thedarkemissary
Ай бұрын
@@bronzin1445 No. Your point is that the game is 'over-hated." And while you might have been okay paying $60 for a 3 hour FPS campaign with no competitve multiplayer, the rest of the gaming world was not. Not during the great FPS Renaissance. Wildly open weapon customization didn't save Dead Space 3 either. Plenty of crap games contain a neat mechanic or two. "Underrated" and "Over-hated" are subjective concepts. Therefore, there can't be "real reasons" for either.
@bronzin1445

@@thedarkemissary incorrect. You’ve just proven my point
I feel like not having cod zombies on this list is pretty insane.
Big fan since 2019 thanks guys
Holy crap I totally forgot about motor cross madness. 😮 man that’s a deep cut of a game.
Hey jake, good to see you. I honestly only watch this channel when its you. Ur just the bro
I am not smart enough to find secrets in games but this is cool! I bet all the jrpgs have ton of Easter eggs I bet 😅
this is a legendary video ❤
My first game on the ps2 was ATV Offroad Fury and it did the same invisible wall trick, always was a good time.

MX Unleashed on the PS2 did it as well. That's where I first did it. I completely forgot about ATV Offroad Fury, that game was awesome
Motocross Madness, wow that takes me back. I indeed played that for hours and loved that crazy mechanic. Thanks for the memories, Jake.
Haven't played the series for a bit but CoD Zombies started as an easter egg in WaW, def would say that grew to legendary status
AM HERE TO thanks gameranx for the effort for making this videos.
The Escape from Tarkov ARG is also quite cool, including going to a website and login to several accounts found in short movies and going to real places from several countries to collect the intel IRL to solve the mystery
Okg rogue squadron was one of the dopest games back in the day and I remember that Naboo fighter.. omfg..
Motocross Madness, wow what a pull! My parents lectured me for laughing so hard every time I hit the map limit in the demo. Good times!
Easter egg Jake made gameranx a legend
Thank you for actually telling me the name of the motocross game! I reminded that game clearly from when I was a kid, but I completely forgot its name. Brings a bit of tears. 😢

I remember Motocross madness 2 flying easter egg, it was so much fun lol.
Dying Light the best easter eggs in any game ever 👌🏻

Motocross madness was an absolutely amazing game when I was a kid lol
Nintendo may have told rare to not use that stop and swap mechanic, but it was still built in to something because speedrunners have used it for something and I just can't remember exactly what it was
I still have my pc disc of Star Wars Rogue Squadron :) sadly no pc to put the disc into but I'll never get rid of it. I remember getting that Naboo starfighter too. I also remember how I got SWRS from a cereal box in the early 00s. Wish that was still a thing. Got a 3D 3rd person story based BATTLESHIP game the same way (if you know you know). Thankyou for the nostalgia guys :)
Rip Banjo Threeie 😢
I just love easter eggs. especially when it's gmae devs who snug in cool secret tributes to their favorite games
Rockstar didn't even know they have Bigfoot and Lochness in GTA San Andreas.
@cincaicincai7847

but there was none of it in the beginning right? the community brought it up and the dev had to put it inside the game just to satisfy the community imo
number 5 is what I assumed is what the names floating in the clouds of mortal kombat are partially about like people have partially unlocked something that needs another step to complete to play some recombined code for a hidden level or crypt.
I’ll never forget my entire family speculating about Stop N’ Swap for hours. We didn’t have a computer for many many years so we didn’t discover the intention behind it until I was a teenager. Crazy stuff.
The fact there is a full 4k remaster of Timesplitters 2 THAT EXISTS, but isn’t just available to buy on its own without it being an easter egg is criminal. I would buy it so fast. I would buy all my friends copies. Can we start a petition or something to release the game in full, not as an easter egg???
I love that the code for the naboo Starfighter is Yngwie for guitarist Yngwie Malmsteen. Kid me always thought it was just a collection of letters and not a reference to who is later learn is one of the guitar greats.
omg I forgot about the motocross one!! My cousin's and I would play this game for hours and hours. Sometimes, just shooting off like a cannonball for hours.
We’re making it out of the dark ages with this one, lady’s and gents.

Hey
In regards to the dirt bike game. There was a jet ski game (either N64 or GC) with a similar system. If you went far off the track, you go scooped up by a giant tentacle and launched back on the track.
My favourite Easter Egg thing in gaming has to be the Secret colossus in Shadow Of The Colossus. Even though it never turned into fruition, that was a legendary hunt that lasted a long time.
Motocros Madnes easter egg brought me back to childhood. Windows 98 ❤
😮 Motocross Madness Easter egg unlocked a core memory.
I'd include the granddaddy of all video game Easter Eggs - Adventure on the Atari 2600.

i got sudden urge to rewatch Ready Player One for some reason upon reading this comment :D
The shots of the woods in sanandreas gave me vibes of WOW
I was waiting the most clever easter egg of all time. Original 3 Baldurs Gate games (1,2&TOB) had golden, silver and bronze underwear that had game breaking effect, if combined in very spesific way.
I always get impressed by communities that figure crazy stuff out. I always wonder how they did it.
Borderlands 2 creeper is best easter egg of all time. Even drops a really great legendary sniper
Lol i thought that was what you were supposed to do on motorcross. We use to smoke out and just go flying 😂
Wow I forgot about the cow level stuff. What a weird memory to surface. Not sure if I went there or saw a friend do it but something lol.
I fully believe that Motorcross Madness was the origin of the word yeet.
Wirt's leg + a town portal tome, you savage.
Motocross Madness sounds a lot like the Gameboy game, Motocross Maniacs. Also a very good game. 🙂
Every day new awesome videos.
Me: This list had *better* have the secret cow level in it. List: 19:35 Me: Well done. Carry on.
about the cow lvl: back in Diablo 1, there was a cow in Tristram. It was clickable, and it had a 'moo' sound when clicked. Since there is so few interactive NPCs in D1, that sparked a rumor there was a "secret cow level" which you could achieve by clicking the cow 50+ times or whatever. That's where the rumor started, and when D2 came out the rumor persisted.
The easter egg in number 9 would also happen in ATV off road fury. After a bit of google searching both of those games were developed by Rainbow Studios. ATV off road fury was the only demo we had with our original PS2. We played the shit out of it back in the day. When I saw the invisible wall throw I was hit with big nostalgia.
That Naboo Starfighter absolutely blew the minds of my brother and I
The thing with keys hunting that one opens the box , its a chrono capsule , from the finish of tower of Eiffel in its base it has a chrono capsule ,and actually lot many places ( mostly landmarks) have a chrono capsule ,even the acropolis of athens has a chrono capsule.
My fav was the D1 cow level. Blew my mind in D2!!!! Hahahaha
JAKEEEE from Gameranx! 🎵 Like a good neighbor, Gameranx is there 🎵
Uuuu i loved playing motocross madness! Cant remember if i had the full version, pirated or a demo… But man i played it alot!
cheese in perfect dark and key in banjo kazooie still haunt me in my dreams
Ayyyyye, Shout to Jake, Long Island's Treasure!
Right after the Cow Level easter egg, KZread served me an ad for some plant-based butter which “didn’t pass through cow’s digestive system” (or something like that). And at the end of the ad there was a cow (with no weapon tho).
I always thought the Bazooka Uzi in the original Worms was amazing.
Never played Motocross madness but MX unleashed had the exact same feature because I remember you can drive out of bounds and it will launch you back the exact same way
