I love that the actual statue had its breasts blurred. We live in a society where we can show gruesome gore and promote killing in games to the point we are desensitized, but a nipple is WAY too far.

The most insane easter egg ever, if you can really classify it as such, is the entirety of Inscryption's story. Daniel Mullins put clues in all of his old games, even old demos of unreleased games, and even hid stuff in the real world that was required to fully unlock and understand Inscryption. Seeing all of it unfold blew my mind, it's unbelievable.

My favourite Easter egg will always be the Monty Python and the holy grail reference in The Witcher 3. Stumbled on it by complete chance and instantly recognised it, which was really satisfying. I think it's cause they're passionate about what they do, it's a fairly small team and they have really good chemistry and have been around a bit. If you compare like IGN there's several hundred people doing random content that's disingenuous cause alot of them don't know anything about games but studied in a certain field that "qualifies" them. TL;DR small team of actual gamers making great content for gamers.

Xenogears has been my #1 game since it came out, over 2 decades later, i'd be scared of them remaking it and ruining it. THe number of secrets was INSANE and AMAZING! That game really opens up once you start collecting the manual pages and I was totally there for it all. to be precise, dying light 2's hoverboard WAS obtainable in some earlier versions of the game if u just moved out of the given path and reach an specific safehouse before the timer runs out, u could simply put the hoverboard inside ur safehouse stash and exit the game, after returning u could see the hvoerboard simply lying there in ur stash ready to use freely, u could use the same method for some other easter egg limited stuff including harry potters broom or the doom guy shotgun, sadly it got patched in the later releases but if u managed to get ur hands on them, they never actually removed it from the players inventories.

Love easter eggs. My first ever was way back in a PC game called F-14 Top Gun. In one mission if you flew to a certain place, you'd find... a dragon! Flying along, flapping, breathing fire. I shot it down with the M61 20mm cannon. In the post mission briefing it said "Puff the dragon was shot down by Maverick..." man, I laughed.

With the Batman reference, what would make someone think to adjust the console clock and talk to that guy? Impressive how people figure this stuff out.

Ha, Borderlands pre sequel has a mission with the Dunks Watson, who dunk jumps himself free of Elpis' gravitational pull. On the bridge of Sanctuary in Borderlands 3, you can see him float by if you manage to see it when it spawns.

In dying light 2 You can actually use the hoverboard outside of the course and keep it through a glitch where you leave the race and go straight to your bed and sleep. I still have my hoverboard and also have a harry potter broom stick yku can find in the game where you do the same thing and keep it. Literally can fly to any point you want.
