    Would have loved to see the beginning of the loop as well as configuration and patch that gave all those background harmonics. If that is all that granular looper and glitch phrase sampler I might have to get one.

    Word to the wise; if you’re thinking about getting a Model 16 instead for more channels, be aware that although it is an interface.. the mixer itself is analog. This means that you can’t do any midi mapping of faders, encoders etc. Model 12 is MUCH better at actually interfacing with a DAW.

    I had a first gen Artiphon and it was having issues, and was out of warranty. Artiphon offered no way to even pay to fix it. Basically they told me to throw it away. Done with them.

    Yo man, I'm thinking I'm buying a 16 channel Tascam mixer.. You're one of the few people that played the kind of instruments I mess with. I heard talk about it. Is it a good idea to get the 16 channel?

  • @Tiger.Arcade

    Hey Roland. There’s a few different options but I like the 12 for all the ports I need and I can use it as a daw controller and mixer. It even has built in effects and can record. There’s preamps. Only two inserts though. And it’s interface can be a bit confusing at times. Ultimately, depends on your needs for ports. There are some differences between features on the Tascam models so be sure to look into that as well.

  • @joegrant413

    Thanks! FWIW, I've played guitar for years, but only pluck around on keys. I want a piece of hardware that feels like a fretboard to compose and send MIDI, and that is portable. Instrument 1 and Chorda would seem to fit those needs.

    Looking over the patch bay, why is there no VCO Output? Only the modulation oscillator gets a dedicated out to patch around the synth? That seems like a massive oversight for a semimodular synth, especially when all of Moog's other semimodular synths have raw VCO outputs, per waveform in some cases.

    I can't front on Behringer. I am a working-class guy from Delco... and money matters! So when the option to spend $699 for a Moog DFAM or $199 for a Behringer Edge presented itself, it was an easy decision!! m.kzread.info/dash/bejne/lJpn1KWQhZC_oLQ.html It plays nice with my Drumlogue too!! Cheers from the land of Delco!

    Just tried it, 6 months after this vid. It’s an insanely creative instrument in it’s own right. And the price??? Bought it for 49$. Compare that to a hardware solution… I love that moog are trying to bridge something here. A way of thinking. Introducing both limitations and hands on thinking. It’s a great way to draw interest to the hardware side. No complaints at all. Thanks for the vid!

    The T8 can be linked up to anything as a side drum and its a lil beast. You might of got a bad battery? never record with them being USB powered its groundloop noise. The 303 is super cool on board FX. You should of sat it on a shelf then pulled it out 6 months later. Look into the TR 6s it does exactly what you described you wished it did, Cheers anyways different strokes for different folks nah mean stay up and keep jamming ✌

  • @Tiger.Arcade

    The only thing I’ve seen the app do is allow you to adjust reverb and delay and individual volume tracks. Oh and download more music packs. It just mostly helps you navigate faster. As far as I’m aware.

  • @dominicdit
    @dominicdit13 күн бұрын

    agreed... not interested in apps at all, but it is only a matter of time until the app stops being supported. instruments used to last forever, an app makes it so it lasts 5, 10 years??? not worth it. Also, these companies do not get to have permission to access my devices files. 250 dollars for something you can do in a DAW with the midi controller you have already, GAS
