Dude this is so wrong, I’ve been in Lubbock my entire life. Schools suck, jobs are completely unfindable and the ones you find are low pay, and the housing is god awful. Don’t come to Lubbock 😂

We have a small ranch near Ingram. We love it here in the hill country. Nice and quiet, very little crime. I ride motorcycles and just a great area for cruising.
This place blows. You can drink, eat, and party well enough but that’s about it

Yes San Antonio has the most Hispanics, guess what it use to be apart of Mexico at one point, so its not diversity majority of the ancestors just stayed and wlecomed other race and cultures 😀👍

Because so many people get drunk and do drugs here. It is a very boring place..
You keep forgetting Wayland Baptist University.
Denton's bus system is WAY better than Lubbock. I have used both. Amarillo and Midland are the closest major cities, not Dallas, as well as the cities leading to Dallas from Lubbock that are on the west side of the Metroplex.
So, badically, Lubbock is a horrible place to live! 🤭
Is Lubbock a good place to buy a rental investment property or is the place already oversaturated with build-to-rent properties done by home construction companies?

Odessa and Midland are crowded and expensive due to everyone moving in to work in the oil industry.

Lubbock is trash…. It’s so freaking ugly.
I love how not a single comment is about Lubbock ISD, my elementary and middle school were great, but the teachers outside of ap do not give a crap
I currently live in Hawai'i (born and raised here) and its crazy expensive. Got some friends in Lubbock that convinced me to move there. got a 2 year plan to save up and get things in order before making the move.

East Texas is for retired people
If it wasn't for the wind and dirt/dust, Lubbock would be perfect... kind of.
Lubbock is a monopolize city with large company owners in politics to pass laws for the benefit there company.
Lubbock is only like that if you live in the right area. I once lived in a neighborhood with a park nearby. My mom went on a walk there with my little brother, she found NEEDLES near the park/on the grass. Not to mention the amount of homeless people around there, but that’s genuinely just a problem all around Lubbock, even near the more well taken care of areas.
We most definitely do not have everything you can imagine

Lubbock is pretty much the same as Amarillo, except Amarillo is a little more blue collar, Lubbock is a little more of a college town with lots of younger people. Both have lots of great restaurants and places to live your life without being bothered too much.

I don’t even live there and I know it’s not that bad try living in Louisiana. Lubbock is like heaven compared to where I left currently live in Guymon Oklahoma and that place sucks and boring asf I go to Lubbock to see something different eat and walk downtown. I could live there but not inside city limits I’ll take the dirt road living lol

I love all three cities, Andrew, and all have good things going on. Amarillo may have the better downtown (and Midland a close second), but Lubbock needs now to break outside the box and start dreaming bigger than it has. Lubbock's music reputation needs to be stretched out more. And Lubbock, overall, has better food and abundant wineries and distilleries.
