@@mslopez8034 yea i moved here in January and so far i like it more then Vegas only because i was done with city life and didn’t mind not going out to places as much. There is barely any traffic so you can get to places on time. As for it being unsafe i wouldnt know since i live on the nicer side of town and havent heard anything bad going on over here, i have heard there is alot of crime but i experienced anything yet. Id say so long as you choose what part of the city you want to live in you should be fine

What about pollen allergies here in Lubbock? How is that compared to cities like Austin, Dallas and Houston?

Personally I feel like it is better because of less humidity, but I know some grasses can stir up allergies a bit
Great video! Thank you man 😍 💯

Hi how are you doing, I was recently offered a job in Weatherford TX but clearly not being from Texas I'm looking into living there and ran into your videos which are great!. Just wondering if you have any info on how it is living there ?
I'm currently in Seattle, looking to move to Texas. Been watching a lot of videos of different cities in the state. So hard to decide!

@mando2.049 Lubbock is a pretty big place that isn't full, but offers things major cities would offer without the crippling traffic places like Fort Worth have. I would recommend it.

@@frogsofindia did you take a trip out to Texas yet ? I was planning on going when I get 10 days off of work for Christmas time. I wanted to go during summer to see how hot and humid it really is in person but my wife is about to burst soon with our twins.
Lol. This is a funny video.
So here’s something I need to know… How do you find a rental that’s not breed specific with dogs. My son and his fiancé were both offered jobs in Shallowater. They have called and messaged so many property managements around the west side and have not found any that will accept their fur baby. They are wanting to be there by the first of July, but it’s not looking good. Getting rid of their sweet guy is not an option. I would really appreciate any advice or suggestions you may have.

Thanks for your comment Nadine :) It may be good for them to check out some houses for rent, I have found that they are usually more lenient than apartments with pets.
I don’t believe the cost of living stats. Real estate taxes are very high, food and utilities prices are about the same as everywhere.

You must have missed the part about cheap housing.

Okay put it in this perspective. I live in California I pay $2700 for a 2b 2bath apartment. That’s just rent not including utilities and sewer water and trash. Add food, gas,etc the cost of living in Texas is cheaper overall. But of course you have the weather trade off.
